Applications are invited by Himachal Pradesh Krishi Vishvavidyalaya, Palampur for admission to Ph.D. programme in the following disciplines in the College of Agriculture, Dr. G.C. Negi College of Veterinary & Animal Sciences, College of Basic Sciences and College of Home Science:-

I) College of Agriculture

(i) Agricultural Biotechnology*,

(ii) Agricultural Economics#,

(iii) Agronomy,'

(iv) Entomology,

(v) Plant Breeding & Genetics

(vi) Plant Pathology

(vii) Soil Science,

(viii) Vegetable Science#.

*( 2 seats ) -one for DBT JRF and other on the basis of merit (Himachali Candidate).

II) Veterinary and Animal Sciences:

(i)Veterinary Anatomy & Histology,

(ii) Animal Breeding, Genetics A Biostatistics

(iii) Animal Nutrition,

(iv) Animal Reproduction, Gynecology and Obstetrics

(v) Veterinary Medicine

(vi)Veterinary Microbiology & Immunology

(vii) Veterinary Physiology** and

(viii) Veterinary Surgery & Radiology.

**( 3 seats ) i.e. (two for General and 1 for Self Financing Scheme)

Application Forms:

The Prospectus-cum-Admission Form can be obtained from the Deputy Registrar (Academic), CSKHPKV, Palampur on cash payment of Rs. 1200.00 for General Category and Rs. 900.00 for SC/ST Categories at the University Counter or by Post sending Rs.1250.00 and Rs. 950.00 respectively through account's payee Bank Draft drawn on SBI branch HPAU, Palampur in favour of Comptroller, CSKHPKV, Palampur along with self addressed envelop unstamped 30x20 cm.

Candidate may also down load the Prospectus/Application Form from University Website http://hlllaoric.ac.in.  The candidate availing the downloading facility of application form will enclose with the application form the cost of Prospectus, as applicable.

Completed admission form must reach the Deputy Registrar (Academic) CSKHPKV, Palampur, Distt. Kangra- 176062 by 28.12.2013 up to 5.00 PM.

The Counseling shall be held on 02.01.2014 in the office of the Dean, Postgraduate Studies of this University at 11.00 AM.

The date of registration shall be 07.01.2014.
