Five‐Year Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) 2014‐19
Indian Institute of Management Indore has invited
applications for admission to the Five‐Year Integrated Programme in Management
(IPM) 2014‐19, commencing in August 2014.
Applicant must have passed Higher Secondary/ XII
Std/ +2 Level/ equivalent examination from any of the recognized central or
state boards. Those appearing for the final examination of Higher Secondary/XII
Std/ +2 level / equivalent and those who have completed the examination and are
awaiting results can also apply. If selected, such candidates will be allowed
to join the programme provisionally, only if he/she submits a certificate
latest by July 31, 2014 from the Principal of his/her School/Institute (issued
on or before July31, 2014) stating that the candidate has completed all the
requirements for obtaining the Higher Secondary/ XII Std/+ 2 level/equivalent
qualification on the date of the issue of the certificate.
Applicants of General and NC‐OBC Category should
have scored 60% aggregate marks in both X and XII Standard OR SAT1 overall
score of 1600 out of 2400 (SAT-1 score obtained during January 1, 2013 to March
31, 2014). Applicant of the SC, ST and PWD/DA Category should have scored 55%
aggregate marks in both X and XII Standard OR SAT 1 overall score of 1475 out
of 2400 (SAT-1 score obtained during January 1, 2013 to March 31, 2014 only is
valid).
Applicant should not be more than 20 years as on
July31, 2014. SC, ST and PWD/DA Category applicants should not be more than 22
years as on July 31, 2014. Those who are yet to complete the examination of XII
Standard or are awaiting result may also apply. However, the candidate’s final
selection/admission will be subject to satisfying the minimum eligibility
conditions as mentioned above.
At the time of registration for the programme
applicants will be required to submit X and XII standard mark-sheet (securing
60% and above) failing which the candidate’s admission offer will stand
cancelled. The percentage of marks obtained by the candidate in X and XII
Standard would be calculated based on the practice followed by the board from
where the candidate has obtained the certificate. In case the candidates are
awarded grades instead of marks, the conversion of grades to percentage of
marks would be based on the procedure certified by the board from where they
have obtained the certificate.
Applicants pursuing their XII standard or
equivalent from international schools affiliated to foreign boards like IGCSE
(International General Certificate for Secondary Education) and IB
(International Baccalaureate) can also apply and they have to submit
equivalency certificate for Association of Indian Universities New Delhi.
Application Form can be downloaded from
www.iimidr.ac.in. The filled up application should reach IIM Indore Admissions
Office on or before April 4, 2014 along with non‐refundable application fee
(DD/BC drawn in the favour of Indian Institute of Management, Indore @ Indore)
of Rs. 1000/- (Rs. 500 for SC, ST and DA category) with attested copies of all
the relevant certificates. Applicants belonging to NC‐OBC, SC, ST and PWD/DA
categories need to submit valid and attested certificates in support of their
reservation category.
Selection will be based on the overall performance
in Aptitude Test and Personal Interview. The dates and timelines for the
selection process are tentative and may be changed as required.
Based on the applications received, candidates
satisfying minimum eligibility criteria will be called for the Aptitude Test
(AT) to be conducted at Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Indore, Kolkata, Mumbai and New Delhi
on 15th May, 2014 (Thursday).
The Admission Test of two hours duration will have
100 objective‐type questions and will have two broad sections -Quantitative
Ability and Verbal Ability with a weightage of 60% (Quantitative Ability) and
40% (Verbal Ability), respectively. Each question will carry 4 marks. There
will be a negative marking of 1 mark for each wrong answer. The sample pattern
will be uploaded in the website beforehand.
Personal interviews (PIs) will be conducted at
Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Indore, Kolkata, Mumbai and New Delhi. Shortlist for PI
will be announced on Monday, May 26, 2014. Only those candidates
whose raw scores in both the sections are positive will be considered for
shortlisting for PI, to be conducted during Tuesday‐Friday, June 3‐6, 2014. For
PI (after AT), applicants will be called in the ratio of 1:10 category‐wise.
The following weightage will be applicable based on the AT. Final selection
will be based on the overall performance of the applicant in AT, and PI with
weightage of 60% and 40% respectively.
IIM Indore will intimate the candidates about their
selection on Monday, June 16, 2014.No intimation will be sent to candidates who
are not selected.
The selected candidates should send their
acceptance of admission offer alongwith a commitment fee of Rs.1,00,000/- to
IIM Indore on or
before Monday, June 30,2014. This amount will be adjusted against
tuition fees.
Candidates will formally register at IIM Indore
after fulfilling all the requirements and payment of all necessary fees on Friday, August
1, 2014. Classes will commence on Monday, August 4, 2014. Government of India
reservation norms will be followed while admitting the candidates for the
programme and intake will be limited to 121candidates.
Tuition fee is Rs. 3 lakh per annum for first three
years and Rs. 5 lakh per annum for the last two years. The tuition fee is
payable term wise. The tuition fee includes access to the library and computer
lab. Hostel fees, laundry fees, and food expense will be additional.
