Scheme for CPT
Enrol with the
Institute for Common Proficiency Course (CPC) after passing class 10th
examination
Appear in CPT
examination after appearing in the Senior Secondary Examination (10+2
examination) .
Students registered
on or before 1st April/1st October will be eligible to appear in June/December
examination, as the case may be.
This is entry level
test for Chartered Accountancy Course .
It is a Multiple
Choice Question-type exam, for 200 Marks, with 1 Mark for a correct answer and
0.25 negative mark for a wrong answer.
The test is divided
into two sessions of two hours each (9.00 – 11.00 a.m. and 12.30 - 2.30 p.m.).

studying CIMA at the Certificate level papers , however students already
holding professional qualifications or an MBA are eligible for exemptions from

for the CIMA qualification, you need to register online directly with CIMA
(www.cimaglobal.com) as a student. If you are starting at the Certificate
level, you can do this at any time, but allow approximately two months prior to
when you plan to sit your first computer based assessment .

at the Operational or Management level or taking the Gateway route, you should
register before the following deadlines:
