ADMISSION NOTIFICATION - 2014 - 15

Applications are invited for admission into the following courses offered by the Vidyapcctha during the academic year 20I4-2015.

Prescribed application forms along with prospectus can be obtained from the Vidyapeetha in person on payment of Rs.150/- through D.D. and by post on payment of Rs.200/- by way of D.D. drawn in favour of The Registrar. R.S. Vidyapeetha from any nationalised Dank payable at Tirupati (or) by downloading from the Vidyapeetha website http://rsvidyapeetha.ac.in All the downloaded filled in applications should be submitted along with a Demand Draft for Rs. 150/-.

NRI's can also apply.

The last date to receive the filled in applications for all courses is 09-06-2014

For Kasmiri migrants, the last date for receipt of filled in applications is 19-06-2014.

Reservation for SCs, STs, OBCs. PHCs etc.. will be made applicable for admission into Vidyapeetha Courses as per the existing rules of Government of India.

A. REGULAR PROGRAMMES

I UNDER-GRADUATE COURSES- PRAK-SASTRI - /Eq.to+2/lntermediate (with Computers as special subject) SASTRI (Eq.to B.A.) with Computer Applications ; SASTRI Vedhabhashyam (Eq. to B.A.) ; B.Se.(Sastri) with Computer Science and Mathematics ; B.A.(I Elect. Sanskrit compulsory).

II. POST-GRADUATE COURSES : ACHARYA : (Eq.to M.A.) in 14 shastras i.e. Sahitya' Vyakarana/ Jyotisha(Phaliya/Sidhanta)/Nyaya/Advaita Vedanta/Visishtadvaita Vedanta/ Dyaita Vedanta Vedabhashya/ Agama/ Sankhya Yoga/ Dharmasastra/ Puranctihasa/Mimamsa. ; M.A. in Sanskrit Sabdabodha Systems and Language Technology f ; M.Sc. in Computer Science & Language Technology. M.A in Hindi - Duration : 2 years (4 Semester.).

Eligibility : Any Graduate with Hindi .is Second language   BA with Hindi as special subject or equivalent

The following courses have been introduced under the Innovative programme sanctioned by UGC. P.G Diploma in Comparative Aesthetics in Global Perspective : Duration : 1 Year; Eligibility : Acharya or equivalent PG Degree in Sahitya. Sound knowledge in English. M.A l.M.T. (Master in Ancient Indian Management Techniques) Duration: 2 years(4 Semesters) Eligibility: Graduate in an\ discipline having secured a minimum of 50% marks.

III. RESEARCH PROGRAMMES : (i) VISISHTA ACHARYA (M.Phil.) in 14 subjects i.e..

I. Sahitya; 2.Vyakarana; 3. Phalitha Jyotisha; 4. Siddhanta Jyotisha; 5. Nyaya; 6.Advaita Vedanta ; 7. Visistadvaita Vedanta; 8. Dvaita Vedanta; 9. Agama; 10. Man use ri otology and Paleography ;

II. Puranetihasa ; 12. Dharmasastra 13. Mimamsa, 14. Education and Vedabashsam.

(i i) VID YAVA RIDHI (Doctor of Philosophy) in all Sastras'Sahitya/Education. A Separate notification will be issued soon for conduct of Common Entrance Test regarding admission into Vidyavaridhi (Ph.D.) programme in different subjects offered by Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeetha, Tirupati, Shri Lai Bahadur Sastri Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeetha, New Delhi and Rashtriya Sanskrit Samsthan in its campuses for the academic year 2014-15. Eligible candidates may look forward for details in the Notification / website of all the above three institutions.

(iii) VIDYAVAC HAS PAT I (D.Litt.) in all Sastras and in Education.

B. EVENING AND PART-TIME PROGRAMS :

l. P.G DIPLOMA in (i) Yoga Therapy and Stress Management : Duration : I year ; Eligibility : Any graduate with second class. Age limit:40 years; No.of seats : 40. (ii) Yoga Yijnan : I Year, (iii) Natural Language Processing : 2 years.

(iv) Web Technology : I Year. (v) Pourohitya ;

II. DIPLOMA   in (i) Temple Culture

(ii) Pourohitya (iii) Sanskrit & I*aw (iv) Management w ith Oriental orientation (v) E-learning ; Duration : I year.

III. CERTIFICATE COURSE in (i) Temple Culture (ii) Pourohitya

(iii) Functional English (iv) Jyotisha : 6 months.

IV. Career Oriented Programmes : The Vidyapeetha offers job-oriented Add-on courses for Sastri/B.A./B.Sc. students in (i) DTP in Indian Languages (ii) Web Technology (iii) Puranetihasa (iv) Vastu Sastra and (v) Certificate, Diploma and Advanced Diploma Courses m Translation Techniques and Creative writ ing in Sanskrit and Regional Languages.

• Scholarships will be awarded to the eligible students studying full time tradition*! courses only as per rules. Hostel facility with subsidy in mess bills is available. No Hostel facility for Evening & Part-time course students.
