B.P.Ed./M.P.Ed./M.Phil Admission Notice 2015

Applications are invited for admission to the B.P.Ed. , M.P.Ed. and M.Phil  Courses conducted in the School of physical education and sports sciences,Kannur University for Year 2015-16.

Eligibility:

I B.P.Ed. COURSE:

For admission to the B.P.Ed Course the candidate should fulfill the following conditions.

(i) Should have passed a Bachelor Degree of Kannur University or any other University recognized as equivalent there to with 45 % marks and having participated in National /Inter University/State Competitions or secured 1st, 2nd or 3rd positions in Inter Collegiate/ Inter Zone Districts /School Competitions in sports and games

(ii) Should be below the age of 25 years as on 1st July of the year of admission. Age relaxation will be given as per University rules to the eligible candidates.

(iii) Should be physically fit for daily heavy load of physical exercises and should not have any physical deformity or mental disability which prevents him/her from actively taking part in physical education program.

II M.P.Ed. COURSE:

For admission to the M.P.Ed Course the candidate shall fulfill the following conditions

(i) Should have passed a Bachelor Degree in Physical Education of Kannur University or any other University recognized as equivalent there to with 50% marks

(ii) Should be below the age of 27 years as on 1stJuly of the year of admission

(iii) Should be physically fit for daily heavy load of physical exercises and should not have any physical deformity or mental disability which prevents him/her from actively taking part in physical education program.

III M. Phil. COURSE:

For admission to the M.Phil. course, candidates should have passed post- graduate degree in Physical Education (M.P.Ed/ M.P.E./ M.P.E.S) of any University with at least 55% marks, recognized by Kannur.

Duly filled in application along with required documents and Chelan/ DD for Rs.250/- drawn in favour of the Finance officer Kannur University as application fee should reach to the Director of Physical Education ,Kannur University, Kannur University campus post, Mangattuparamba , Kannur, Kerala .Pin:670 567 before 16th June 2015.
