Admission Notice 2015
Applications
are invited from the eligible candidates for admission to MBA (Agri-Business
Management) programme of Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and
Technology of Jammu for the 1st Semester of the academic session 2015-16 as
detailed below
Eligibility:
BSc Ag. /
BVSc & AH / BTech Agril. Engineering / BSc Horticulture / BSc Dairying /
BSc Forestry / BSc Fisheries with 60% or equivalent OGPA or any other graduate
degree with 60% marks
Applications
on the prescribed format complete in all respects accompanied with the
following documents and a Bank draft for Rs. 2000/- (Rupees: Two Thousand only)
(nonrefundable) pledged to Comptroller, SKUAST-Jammu payable at Jammu must
reach to Dy. Registrar (Acad), SKUAST-Jammu, Chatha on or before 3rd July,
2015.
Selection:
Selection
for admission to MBA (Agri-Business Management) course shall be made on the
basis of merit in the following components:
1. Merit in the qualifying examination i.e.
Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized University.
2. Candidates will be called for group
discussion, personal interview and micro presentation.
3. The final merit list will be prepared based
on the following selection parameters.
a. Valid CAT/CMAT/MAT Score
b. Diversity Factor
c. Group Discussion
d. Extempore / Micro presentation
e. Personal Interview
f. Academic Record (on pro rata basis)
(Graduation, 12th, 10th )
Personal
interview, Group Discussion, Micro presentation may include subject to test
candidates’ aptitude for Agriculture and Management. Candidates’ record in
extracurricular activities and any additional qualifications or accomplishments
may also be considered during the interview process
