INTEGRATED FIVE YEAR LL.B ENTRANCE EXAMINATION 2015

Applications have been invited for the Entrance Examination for Admission to Integrated Five Year LL.B Course 2015-16 in the four Government Law Colleges of Kerala and in the Private Self-financing Law Colleges of Kerala which have entered into seat sharing agreement with the State Government.

Eligibility for Admission:
(i) Nativity: Applicant should be an Indian Citizen.
(ii) Academic Qualifications: Applicant should have passed the Kerala Higher Secondary Examination or any other examination recognised as equivalent thereto by Universities in Kerala (or) should have passed 10+2 Course recognised by the Educational Authority of Central or State Government (or) should possess such academic qualifications which are considered as equivalent to such 10+2 Course by the Bar Council of India, with a minimum of 45% marks. Candidates seeking admission under SC/ST category should have passed the qualifying examination with minimum of 40% marks. Candidates who are appearing/have appeared for the qualifying examination this year are also eligible to apply, subject to the condition that they should produce the pass certificate and mark list of the qualifying examination at the time of admission.
(iii) Age: The applicant should have completed 17 years of age as on 31.12.2015.There is no upper age limit for admission to the Integrated five year LL-B Course.
(iv) Qualifying Standards in the Entrance Examination: To qualify in the Entrance Examination, and thereby figure in the rank list, a General/SEBC category applicant should secure a minimum of 10% of the 600 marks in the Entrance Examination whereas a candidate belonging to SC/ST category should get a minimum of 5% of the total marks.

Entrance Examination: The Entrance Examination will be conducted at Thiruvananthapuram, Ernakulam, Thrissur and Kozhikode on 28.06.2015 (Sunday). It will be of 3 hours duration (10.00 am to 1.00 pm) and will consist of 200 Multiple Choice Questions. The questions will cover General English, General Knowledge and Aptitude for Legal Studies.

How and When to Apply: Candidates seeking admission to the Course can apply online on the website www.cee.kerala.gov.in  of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations. The website will be open for online registration from 06.06.2015 to 15.06.2015, 3 p.m. While applying online, the candidate has to upload a recent passport size colour photograph in jpg format, with light background, of size between 15kb and 30kb and dimensions 150 (width) x 200 (height) in pixels.

Application Fee: For General and SEBC candidates, the application fee is Rs.600/- (Rupees Six Hundred Only) and for SC/ST Candidates the application fee is Rs.300/- (Rupees Three Hundred Only).The required fee can be remitted at any branch of the State Bank of Travancore using the Bank Chalan, which is available along with the online application printout. The Original Chalan duly signed and authenticated by the bank authorities should be attached along with the printout of the application form. Candidates outside Kerala State can remit the application fee by attaching a Demand Draft for the requisite amount drawn from a Nationalised Bank in favour of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, payable at Thiruvananthapuram.

Last date and time for receipt of printout of application: Candidates should take printout of the online-submitted application and affix a recent passport size photograph, identical to the one uploaded, in the space provided and get it attested by a Government Gazetted Officer. This application along with the requisite documents should be forwarded to the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, 5th Floor, Housing Board Buildings, , Santhinagar, Thiruvananthapuram – 695 001, in A4 size envelope either by registered post/speed post/hand delivery, so as to reach the office before 5 pm on 16.06.2015 (Tuesday). The envelope should be superscribed “APPLICATION FOR INTEGRATED FIVE YEAR LL.B ENTRANCE EXAMINATION 2015”.

Certificates submitted in the prescribed format available along with the printout of application alone will be accepted for claiming special reservation.

The candidates registered for the Entrance Examination can download their ADMIT CARDS from the website www.cee.kerala.gov.in  from 23.06.2015 onwards. The admit card thus obtained should be brought to the examination hall.

Allotment of Seats: Allotment will be made by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations in accordance with the rank obtained by the candidates in the Entrance Examination and the order of preference of institutions (options) registered by the candidates during online Centralised Allotment Process (CAP). The details of CAP will be notified on the website and in leading newspapers. Individual intimation in this regard will not be sent to candidates.


The Entrance Examination and subsequent allotments will be based on the provisions laid down in the Prospectus for Admission to Integrated 5 Year LL.B Course 2015-16 available on the website. Candidates are advised to carefully read the Prospectus before submitting their applications.
