Ayurveda/Siddha/Homeopathy Admission Notice 2015

Applications have been invited by MOTHER THERESA POST GRADUATE AND RESEARCH INSTITUTE OF HEALTH SCIENCES (MTIHS), Indira Nagar, Gorimedu, Puducherry - 605 006 for admission to following courses of Academic Year 2015-16.

1. Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (DGNM)

2. Diploma in Multi-purpose Health Worker–Female (DMPHW-F)

3. Diploma in Certified Radiological Assistance (DCRA)

4. Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT)

5. Diploma in Ayurveda Pharmacy (DAP)

6. Diploma in Siddha Pharmacy (DSP)

7. Diploma in Homoeopathy Pharmacy (DHP)

ELIGIBILITY FOR ADMISSION

1. Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery - D.G.N.M.:

(i) AGE: The minimum age for admission shall be 17 years and maximum age 35 years, as on 31.12.2015. There is no upper age limit for Registered ANMs.

(ii) EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:

 H.Sc.(10+2) or its equivalent passed with preferably Science (Physics, Chemistry & Biology / Botany & Zoology) & English, with 40% aggregate marks;

(or)

 Diploma in Multipurpose Health Worker/ Auxiliary Nursing & Midwifery (ANM), or H.Sc.(10+2) vocational ANM with 40% aggregate marks under CBSE board or other equivalent board recognised by the Indian Nursing Council; and Registered as ANM with State Nursing Registration Council

[ If seats fall vacant with the above eligibility, then the following eligibility shall be considered for filling up the vacant seats.]

 H.Sc. (10+2) or its equivalent passed with Arts ( Mathematics, Biotechnology, Economics, Political Science, History, Geography, Business Studies, Accountancy, Home Science, Sociology, Psychology, Philosophy) and English with 40% aggregate marks;

(or)

 H.Sc. (10+2) Science/Arts or Health Care Science–Vocational Stream only conducted by National Institute of Open School with 40% aggregate marks.

2. Diploma in Multi-purpose Health Worker (Female) - DMPHW(F):

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR ADMISSION: [Only FEMALE candidates are eligible].

(i) AGE: The minimum age for admission shall be 17 years and maximum age 35 years, as on 31.12.2015.

(ii) EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:

 H.Sc.(10+2) or its equivalent passed with Science or Arts (Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Botany & Zoology, Mathematics, Biotechnology, Economics, Political Science, History, Geography, Business Studies, Accountancy, Home Science, Sociology, Psychology, Philosophy) and English; or H.Sc.(10+2) in Health Care Science–Vocational Stream only conducted by National Institute of Open School or from any recognised board.

3. Diploma in Certified Radiological Assistance – D.C.R.A.:

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR ADMISSION:

(i) AGE: The minimum age for admission shall be 17 years and maximum age 35 years, as on 31.12.2015.

(ii) EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:

 H.Sc.(10+2) or its equivalent passed with not less than 40% marks in Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Botany & Zoology) (35% marks in Science subjects for SC/BT/MBC/EBC/OBC/ BCM).

4. Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology – D.M.L.T.:

(i) AGE: The minimum age for admission shall be 17 years and maximum age 35 years, as on 31.12.2015.

(ii) EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:

 H.Sc.(10+2) or its equivalent passed with not less than 40% marks in Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Botany & Zoology) (35% marks in Science subjects for SC/BT/MBC/EBC/OBC/ BCM).

(or)

 H.Sc.(10+2) or its equivalent [Vocational Stream] passed with not less than 40% marks in Physics, Foundation Science & Medical Laboratory Assistant Course. (35% marks in these subjects for SC/BT/MBC/EBC/OBC/ BCM).

5. Diploma in Ayurveda Pharmacy [D.A.P.]

6. Diploma in Siddha Pharmacy [D.S.P.]

7. Diploma in Homeopathy Pharmacy [D.H.P.]

(i) AGE: The minimum age for admission shall be 17 years and maximum age 35 years, as on 31.12.2015.

(ii) EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:

 H.Sc.(10+2) or its equivalent passed with not less than 40% marks in Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Botany & Zoology) (35% marks in Science subjects for SC/BT/MBC/EBC/OBC/ BCM).

The downloaded application form should be filled up by the candidate in his / her own handwriting and duly signed by the candidate along with the parent / guardian

The filled up Application forms with self attested recent Passport Size Photograph, pasted on the space provided, shall be considered only when submitted with necessary self attested copies of certificates and Demand Draft (Candidate’s name written behind the DD) drawn from any Nationalised Bank, in favour of “THE DEAN, MTPG&RIHS” for application fee. Demand draft and other enclosures can be stapled / tagged together with the application form. They shall be sent by post/courier or can be submitted in person to “THE DEAN, MOTHER THERESA POST GRAUDATE AND RESEARCH INSTITUTE OF HEALTH SCIENCES, Indira Nagar, Gorimedu. Puducherry – 605 006”.
