PG/ UG/ Diploma/ Certificate Admission Notice 2015
Panjab University has invited applications for
admission to various PG/UG/Diploma/Certificate courses for the academic session
2015-2016.

Handbook of Information and Rules for
Admission-2015 can be obtained from Sale Counter, Administrative Block
(Basement) Panjab University, Chandigarh, on cash payment of Rs. 550/- and by
Post from the Manager, Publication Bureau, P.U., Chandigarh – 160 014 against
account payee Bank Draft of Rs.660/- drawn in favour of the Registrar, Panjab
University, payable at Chandigarh. (The Applicants for the 1st year of any
course are advised to purchase a copy of Handbook of Information to acquaint
themselves with the Rules and Regulations and other details of the Course).
Candidates desirous of applying for admission to
University teaching departments for the session 2015-2016 can download
admission form from PU website www.puchd.ac.in free of cost. However, those
finally admitted, will be charged Rs. 60/- as cost of admission form along with
admission fees.
Interested Students (including those who have
already applied for Entrance Test to be held in May/June 2015) are required to
submit their admission / application forms for all UG / PG Courses (except for
1st year classes of the courses where admission is based on JEE-2015, PU-CET
(UG)-2015, PUTHAT-2015 and PU-BA / BCom LL.B (Hons) Five Year Integrated
course-2015) by 29.06.2015 and for Diploma & Certificate courses latest by
15.07.2015 in the concerned PU department / Regional Centre, irrespective of
the declaration of the result of qualifying exam / Entrance Test.
Following documents are needed along with duly
filled in prescribed admission form:
a) Self attested photocopies of sports
certificates.
b) Class X, class XII and B.A. DMC showing date of
birth.
c) The Affidavit of sports achievements
(ANNEXURE-III) available in Handbook of Information-2015 duly attested by a Notary
/ Magistrate Class I / II on a Stamp paper of Rs. 5/-.
d) Roster Form / list of players duly attested by
the competent authority of concerned tournament / championship. The photograph
of the player should also be pasted on the certificate duly attested by the
competent authority of concerned tournament / championship.
Last Date for Receipt of Application Forms:
1. All Courses (Other than 2 below): 29.06.2015 5.00 pm.
2. Certificate/ Diploma Courses: 15.07.2015 5.00 pm.
