AMA's Diploma in International Business Management, recognized for MBA Degree of IGNOU
Government of Gujarat-Ahmedabad Management Association (GoG-AMA) Centre for International Trade (GACIT), Ahmedabad is offering a Post Graduate Programme in International Business Management, approved by Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) and leading to AMA's Diploma in International Business Management, recognized for MBA Degree of IGNOU.
Successful candidates will be awarded the Master's Degree in Business Administration (MBA) in addition to the Post Graduate Programme in International Business Management from AMA.
The Programme is of 24 months duration, spread over 6 academic terms including practical exposure and summer internship with Research Study, Seminar & Integrated Comprehensive project work during 4th, 5th, & 6th terms in the second year and has specialization offered in (i) International Finance and (ii) International Marketing.
The Programme is open to Graduate Degree holders from any discipline. Applicant must hold the first Graduation Degree with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST) and should be below 35 years of age. Those with work experience are given priority. However, lack of such an experience will not be a disqualification.
Admissions will be offered on the basis of performance at (a) Under Graduate level studies (b) Graduation Degree and subsequent studies (c) achievements in extra curriculum activities (d) work experience and (e) Written Admission Test and Personal Interview to be held at AMA, Ahmedabad at 9 am on 7th June, 2009, with Group Discussion and Interview for short listed candidates to be held on the same day.
The written examination will be to test aptitude of the applicants in areas of English, Mathematics, General Awareness and Logical Reasoning. Prospectus and Application forms can be obtained for Rs.500/- from AMA Office at AMA Complex, Dr. Vikram Sarabhai Marg, Ahmedabad-380015. It can be obtained by Post from AMA by sending a crossed Demand Draft for Rs.550/-, drawn in favour of 'Ahmedabad Management Association'.
