IGNOU BTech admission
The School of Engineering and Technology under the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has invited applications for Engineering Aptitude Test (IGNEAT- 2009) for admission to the four-year full-time BTech and the three-year full-time Diploma in Engineering starting in the January 2010 session. IGNOU conducts these programmes in collaboration with the Sri. Angala Parameshwari Educational Trust (SAPET). Branches available for these engineering degree and Diploma courses are Civil, Electrical, Electronics & Communication, Mechanical and Computer Science & Engineering.
Eligibility: Entry qualification for BTech course is a pass in 10+2 equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Eligibility for admission to 2nd year lateral entry B.Tech course is 3 year Diploma in any branch of Engineering or BSc with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or BCA or BCS.
Entry qualification for Diploma in Engineering is 10th pass or equivalent. Eligibility for admission to 2nd year lateral entry Engineering Diploma is 10th Pass + 2 years ITI certificate in Engineering trades or 10+2 vocational engineering streams.

Duly filled in application along with prescribed fee, attested copies of certificates should be sent to the co-ordination cell (IGNOU – SAPET Project), Room No-113, Block-C, New Academic Complex , School of Engineering & Technology, Indira Gandhi National Open University, Maidan Garhi, New Delhi - 110068 so as to reach on or before 24th August 2009.
IGNEAT-2009 online Aptitude Test will be held during 6-13th September 2009.
The results will be announced on the website www.ignouviep.org.
Admission and counseling will be held during the second week of October 2009.
