MBA (International Business) Degree Programme at New Delhi and Kolkata
Indian Institute of Foreign Trade provides world class education and training in international trade and business, besides being a premier Centre of Research. The Institute, a Deemed University set up by the Department of Commerce, Government of India, invites applications for MBA (IB) Degree programme being offered at Delhi & Kolkata campuses
Eligibility:
Recognized Bachelor’s degree of minimum 3 years’ duration in any discipline.
Candidates appearing for a qualifying examination can also apply subject to submission of proof of requisite qualification by 7th October 2010
No age limit
Reservations:
Seats are reserved as per Government of India rules. The reservation is subject to candidates meeting the admission requirements of the Institute under different categories
Mode of Admission:
1. On the basis of written test, group discussion, essay writing and interview.
2. Written test will be held on Sunday 22nd November 2009 during 10.00 am – 12.00 noon at Ahmedabad, Allahabad, Bangalore, Bhubaneshwar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Coimbatore, Dehradun, Delhi, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Indore, Jaipur, Jamshedpur, Kochi, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur and Visakhapatnam.
3. Based on the marks of Written Test, a limited number of candidates will be invited for second phase of selection process comprising Group Discussion, Essay Writing and Interview to be held at Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Lucknow and Mumbai.
For Foreign Nationals/NRI/Children of NRIs: Seats are reserved for foreign nationals, NRIs and children of NRIs and the admission is considered on the basis of General Management Aptitude Test (GMAT) score of which should not have been declared before 1st January 2008 and should be received by the Institute latest by 31st March 2010.
Placement: Campus recruitment facilities are available.
Hostel: Hostel facilities are available at both IIFT Delhi and Kolkata Centre.
Tution Fees :
The exact amount of tuition fee and other chargers, as applicable for MBA (IB) 2010-12, will be informed to the students at the time of sending the offer letters in March 2010. However, for the current batch the tuition fee is Rs 3, 50,000 per year (50% concession to sc/st/ph candidates) and us$ 18,500 per year for foreign national/nri/children of nri.
Admit Cards
The Admit Cards will be sent BY POST to all the students, who submit filled-in Application Form complete in all respects (online or offline), in the first week of November 2009. Applicants, who do not receive their Admit Cards by 14th November 2009 can download the Admit Card from IIFT's website. With a printout of the Admit Card, the candidates should reach the venue of the Exam Centre on 22nd November 2009 latest by 9.00 a.m. with one of the following documents:
Passport
Election I-Card
College I-Card
Driving I-Card
for appearing in the Exam.
