Mathematical Sciences, Chemical Sciences, Molecular Biology & Biotechnology, Physics, Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, English & Foreign Languages, Business Administration, Environmental Science, Energy and Food Processing Technology.

Applicant should hold a Master's Degree in Humanities and Social Sciences/ Management Science/Science/ Engineering/ Technology or Master's Degree in allied subject with consistently good academic record and a minimum 55% marks or an equivalent CGPA in the Master's Degree

(ii) BE/ B. Tech with an aggregate of 80% marks or equivalent CGPA with valid GATE Score
(iii) A fellowship in Chartered Accountancy/ Company Secretaryship from a recognized Indian or a foreign institution with not less than 60% or equivalent CGPA having a minimum of Bachelor's Degree.
Selection will be on the basis of Entrance test and personal interview to be conducted by the concerned Department. Reservation of seats and relaxation of marks will be as per Govt. of India Rules.
Application forms along with Prospectus can be obtained from the office of the Controller of Examinations , Tezpur University by paying Rs 500/-(Rs 250/- for SC/ ST) in cash.
It can be obtained from designated branches of AXIS Bank at Agartala, Aizwal, Bangalore, Bongaigaon, Bhubaneswar, Dibrugarh, Guwahati (Paltan Bazar), Hyderabad, Imphal, Itanagar, Jorhat, Kolkata, Kohima , Nagaon, New Delhi( Hauz Khas and Lajpat Nagar), North Lakhimpur, Pune, Shillong, Silchar, Tinsukia and Tezpur, (Actual address of the Banks are given at www.tezu.ernet.in ) by paying Rs. 520/-(Rs 270/-for SC/ ST) in cash.
It can be obtained by sending a request to the Controller of Examinations, Tezpur University, P.O.Napaam, Tezpur, Assam-784028, with a Bank Draft of Rs. 560/-( Rs 310/- for SC/ST), drawn in favour of the Registrar, Tezpur University, payable at Tezpur and a self addressed unstamped envelop of size 30 cm x 25 cm.

Downloaded Application form must be accompanied by a Bank Draft of Rs. 500/- drawn in favour of the Registrar, Tezpur University payable at Tezpur.
Issue of Prospectus with application form starts on 20.10.2009.
