Applications have been invited for Mid-Year Ph.D/M.S(by research)/M.S(Engg. by research) programme of Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research, Bangalore, offered in the different units (departments) as detailed below :

Ph.D :

    * Evolutionary and Organismal Biology Unit
    * Molecular Biology and Genetics Unit
    * New Chemistry Unit
    * Theoretical Sciences Unit

M.S(Engg. by research)
    * Chemistry and Physics of Materials Unit.
    * Engineering Mehanics Unit.
    * Theoretical Sciences Unit.

M.S(by research)
    * Evolutionary and Organismal Biology Unit.
    * Molecular Biology and Genetics Unit

Candidates with an M Sc., B E, B Tech, M E, M Tech or MBBS are eligible to apply for Ph.D and M.S Programmes. They should have at least 50% in their highest University examination, and should also have qualified in the GATE / UGC - CSIR - NET, JRF / ICMR, JRF / JEST / or any other equivalent national level entrance examination
