M.A./M.Sc. in Mathematics Admissions 2011-2012
Faculty of Mathematical Sciences, University of Delhi, has invited applications for admission to M.A./M.Sc. in Mathematics at both North and South Campuses for the Academic Year 2011-12.
ELIGIBILITY:
1. B.A.(Hons)/B.Sc.(Hons) Examination in Mathematics of Delhi University with at least 60% marks in Mathematics.
2. B.A.(Hons)/B.Sc.(Hons) Examination in Mathematics of other Universities recognized by Delhi University with at least 75% marks in Mathematics.
3. B.A. (Hons.)/B.Sc.(Hons) Examinations in Mathematics of Delhi University with at least 50% marks in Mathematics.
4. B.A. (Hons) / B.Sc (Hons) Examination in Mathematics of other Universities recognized by Delhi University with at least 65% marks in Mathematics.
Admission will be done through the following modes:
a) 50% seats will be filled up on the basis of merit as per eligibility conditions.
b) 50% seats will be filled up on the basis of an Entrance Test conducted by the Faculty of Mathematical Sciences (North Campus) on July 3, 2011(Sunday).
APPLICATIONS:
Bulletin of Information can be obtained from Room No. 01, New Academic Block, Faculty of Mathematical Sciences, University of Delhi, Delhi-110007 on cash payment of Rs. 50/-. The fee for the entrance examination would be Rs.800/- for students of general category and Rs.400/- for students belonging to SC/ST categories payable by a bank draft drawn in favour the Registrar, University of Delhi, Delhi- 110007 payable at Delhi.
Last date for submission of completed application form is June 17, 2011.
