Applications have been invited by BLDE University, Bijapur, Karnataka for All India Post Graduate Medical Entrance Test (BLDEU PGET 2012) to be held on 05-02-2012, for admission to the following PG & Diploma Courses of the Academic Year 2012 at Shri B. M. Patil Medical College Hospital & Research Centre, Bijapur – 586 103.
COURSES:
M D : Radiology, General Medicine, Pediatrics, Dermatology, Anaesthesiology, Comm. Medicine, Pathology, Microbiology, Forensic Medicine, Biochemistry, Physiology, Anatomy.
M S : General Surgery, Obst. & Gynaecology, Orthopaedics, Ophthalmology, E.N.T
Diploma : DGO, D’Ortho, DLO, DCH, DA, DCP
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
Only those candidates, who satisfy or likely to satisfy the following relevant eligibility requirements for admission to Post Graduate courses will be considered eligible to appear for the BLDEU-PGET-2012 and subsequently for admission to the course.
Eligibility requirements to appear for BLDEU-PGET-2012 and admission to the Medical Post Graduate Diploma and Degree Courses are:-
1. The candidates seeking admission to these courses should have passed MBBS from the college recognized by Medical Council of India.
2. As specified by Medical Council of India, the minimum percentage of marks in the entrance test for eligibility for admission to Post Graduate courses shall be:
a) General category 50 percent
b) SC/ ST & OBC (OBC as declared by Government of Karnataka from time to time) Category 40 percent
c) Candidates with 40 to 70% locomotor disability of lower limbs (as certified by competent issuing authority) category 45 percent.
3. The candidate should have completed the compulsory rotating internship / would be completing by 30th April 2012.
4. Foreign / PIO / NRI students are exempted from BLDEU-PGET-2012. Their admission will be based on qualifying examination marks.
The MCI norms to qualify for PGET & Admissions:
Candidates seeking admission to these Post Graduate Degree courses should have passed M.B.B.S. recognised by Medical Council of India or equivalent qualification and should have obtained permanent Registration from the Medical Council of India or any of the State/ Medical council or candidate should register the same within one month from the date of admission, failing which the admission of the candidate shall be cancelled.

The Application should accompany a D.D of Rs.3,000/- drawn in favour of “The Registrar, BLDE University, Bijapur”, payable at Bijapur, Karnataka, and shall reach The Registrar, BLDE University, Smt. Bangaramma Sajjan Campus, Sholapur Road, Bijapur - 586103, Karnataka.
Last date for downloading application: 22-01-2012.
Last date to receive the application (Hard Copy): 27-01-2012.
Photocopies of following documents attested by a gazzetted officer should be submitted:
*Degree Certificate / Provisional Degree Certificate
*Compulsory Rotatory Internship Completion Certificate or Certificate indicating the probable date of completion issued by the Principal/Head of the Institute.
*Registration/Provisional Registration Certificate
*Attempt Certificate
*All marks cards including that of failed year/phase if any(First year to Final Year)
*The certificate issued by competent authority for candidates claiming lower eligibility under *Locomotor disability / SC / ST / OBC (Karnataka) categories.
*Three additional copies of photographs (write your application number on the back of each photograph and attestation is not necessary) same as pasted on the application form.
