MD (Unani) Admissions 2012
The Faculty of Ayurvedic & Unani Medicines, University of Delhi has invited applilcations for admission to the Mahir-e-Tib (MD-Unani in Ilmul Saidla) Course of Academic Year 2012-13.
The Entrance Test for admission to Mahir-e-Tib will be held on Saturday the 28th April, 2012 at Delhi.
Eligibility:
Candidates must have completed satisfactorily one year compulsory rotatory internship after passing the BUMS examination from the University of Delhi on or before 31st March, 2012 and must have full registration with the State Council Board of Ayurvedic & Unani Medicines / CCIM.
Distribution of seats : 85% of the total seats in Unani Medicines are reserved for candidates who have passed BUMS / BAMS degree from the University of Delhi having one year or six months internship in a recognised Hospital on or before 31st March, 2012 and must have full registration with the State Council / Board of Ayurvedic & Unani Medicines / CCIM.
Note : Under 15% All India Seats, no seat is available in Post-graduate Degree Course in Unani Medicine for this Academic Year i.e. 2011-2012.
Application Forms :
The application form along with Bulletin of Information may be obtained from the office of the Deputy Registrar, Faculty of Medical Sciences, 6th Floor, V.P. Chest Institute Building, University of Delhi, Delhi- 110007, against a crossed M.I.C.R. Bank Draft / Banker's Cheque drawn on any Nationalized Bank in favour of the "Registrar, University of Delhi" payable at Delhi in the following manner:
(i) By hand for 1500/- for General / OBC Categories & 1300/- for SC / ST / PH Categories between 10:00 AM to 03:00 PM on all working days from 15th February, 2012 to 29th March, 2012.
(ii) By post for 1550/- for General / OBC Categories & 1350/- for SC / ST / PH Categories along with a self addressed envelope of 10" X 8" upto 22nd March, 2012.

Note: SC / ST / PH Candidates are requested to bring / send a copy of the Caste Certificate / PH Certificate for obtaining Bulletin of Information.
The last date for receipt of completed Application Form is 29-03-2012.
Attested copies of the following documents should be attached with the application form in the order as given below :
1. High School / Higher Secondary Certificate for verification of date of birth.
2. BUMS Degree / Provisional Certificate.
3. Detailed marks sheet of all Professional Examinations in BUMS Degree.
4. The compulsory rotating internship certificate in recognized Hospital of Ayurvedic & Unani Medicines.
5. Employer's Certificate, if employed.
6. Registration Number with State Council / Board of A & U Medicines / CCIM.
7. SC / ST / OBC / PH Certificate, if applicable.
