Apply online on www.polyadmission.org till June 2 for admission to diploma courses in 49 government and government-aided polytechnic colleges and six self-financing colleges in the State. The admission is conducted district-wise, and only one application is required for admission to all colleges in one district.

Applicants can mark their options in their order of preference on the online form. On submission of the applications online, they will get an application number. The printout of the application should be submitted, along with the required documents, to any polytechnic college, which will issue a registration number. The application fee should be paid to the Principal of that college. The fee is Rs. 100 for each district (Rs.50 for those belonging to the Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes) you apply for.

So if a candidate applies for two districts, the fee will be Rs. 200.
Candidates can verify the status of their application form using their application number, registration number and date of birth on www.polyadmission.org. Complaints, if any, should be brought to the notice of the Principal of the nodal polytechnic in a district, who will be the district coordinator of the single-window system for polytechnic admission.

An Indian citizen and native of Kerala who have passed SSLC or equivalent examinations may apply. Selection is based on the grade in the qualifying examination and calculation of the weighted grade point average and index. The provisional rank list for each district shall be published on the website on June 6. The trial allotment will be made that day. 

The last date for submitting appeals and revised options is June 8. The final rank list and select list will be published on June 12. Admissions start on June 13. There are 11,075 seats in government and government-aided polytechnic colleges. The tuition fee is Rs. 600 a semester.
