Post Graduate Research Programme in Engineering
Integrated M.Tech-Ph.D Programme
in Process Engineering Science

IICT, Hyderabad is starting the  2+3 years full-time residential  Post Graduate Research Programme in Engineering (Integrated M.Tech-Ph.D) programme of Academy of Scientific and Innovative Research (AcSIR) at IICT from the August 2012 semester. The course is in the area of Process Engineering Science (PES), and aims at providing in-depth exposure to applied chemical engineering concepts, scientific principles, and research methodology, besides hands-on and field experience on advanced real-life R&D projects, in line with the proposed objectives of the program.

The course is designed exclusively to impart training with hands on experience to chemical engineering graduates in  Process Engineering Science to conceptualize, develop, design and execute integrated chemical processes with state-of-art methodologies. The uniqueness of PES is the application of core chemical engineering in a process oriented framework. Successful completion of this course will lead to highly skilled professionals with capabilities to develop cutting-edge technologies, and to solve the technical problems and improve the processes by innovative research and by integration of methodologies.

IICT has rich heritage of serving general chemical, fine chemical and pharmaceutical industries through development of state of the art technology. IICT has expertise in carrying out innovative research by integration of methodologies in Process Engineering Science that encompass process development, design, reaction and separation technologies, modeling, optimization and control. IICT research team consists of staff with a broad range of research interests and expertise enabling multidisciplinary teams to work on projects. Research activities at IICT are wide-ranging, reflecting the diversity of modern chemical engineering and science. This post graduate research program is aimed at training students as highly skilled
