Admissions details:

2 Year M B A in Tourism & Hospitality Management (including internship) with the following

Eligibility criteria :

Any graduate with 50% marks  ( 45% for SC/ST students )

Should have appeared and passed any of the Management Aptitude Tests viz., MAT/ ICET

Group Discussion and Personal interview

Foreign students/ NRI/ ICCR Sponsored candidates can seek direct admission, if they claim fluency in English language

Physical fitness certificate from a registered medical practitioner at the time of candidate's admission will be required 

Seat reservation is available for the following categories of applicants :

One third of the total seats are reserved for women students

For  SC / ST  candidates  @  15 %  and  7.5 %  respectively

For DIFFERENTLY ABLED candidates@ 3%

For industry sponsored candidates/ Entrepreneurs@ 10 %

Foreign students admitted upto a ceiling of 15 % seats

Reservation for BC candidates and weightage for distinction in Sports/ NCC/ Cultural activities and Nominees for candidates from  Union Territories and North Eastern States

4 Year BBA Programme in Tourism & Hospitality Management with the following:

Eligibility criteria :

Intermediate or Equivalent ( 10 + 2 ) with 50% marks  ( 45 % for SC/ST students )

Age limit 22years ( 25 years for SC/ ST candidates)

Personal Interview

Few seats are earmarked for the industry sponsored students

Physical fitness to be certified by a registered medical practitioner

4 Year BHMCT (Bachelor of Hotel Management & Catering Technology) with the following:

Eligibility criteria :

Intermediate pass or equivalent (10+2 stream)  / 3-years Diploma in Travel & Tourism / 3-years Diploma in Hospitality & Catering Technology from any Govt. recognized college.

Reservation: SC 15%, ST 6%, Physically Handicapped 3%, BC as per A.P. Govt, norms as on date of interview, 1/3 seats for women students.

A few seats are earmarked for foreign candidates and those sponsored by Industry, NRI's and Entrepreneurs.

Written test and counseling for Admissions will be conducted at NITHM.

Foreign students have to route their applications through MHRD (Ministry of Human Resources Development, Govt, of India, New Delhi) or ICCR (Indian Council for Cultural Relations, New Delhi).

Age Limit :

For candidates from General, OBC and Physically Handicapped categories upper age limit is 22 years at the date of submission of application.

In the case of SC/ST candidates upper age limit is 25 years at the date of submission of application.

During selection procedure relevant certificate must be produced in original as a proof of age.
