Eligibility Conditions:

A. MEd (Regular) 1 year course

i) Eligibility for Entrance Test is 55% in BEd (50% in case of SC / ST & BC candidates).

ii) Qualifying marks for Entrance Test are 20% (15% in case of SC / ST, BC and blind candidates)

B. MEd (through Correspondence) 2-Year course

i) Eligibility for Entrance Test is 55% in B. Ed. (50% in case of SC / ST & BC candidates)

ii) MEd (through Correspondence) course is only for in-service teachers, with two years paid work experience, in a school recognized by a Board of School Education established by law, or in College affiliated to or recognized by a university (part-time experience shall also be counted towards teaching experience if the teaching was done as paid teaching) and are working at the time of admission i.e. in-service at the time of admission.

iii) Qualifying marks for Entrance Test are 20% (15% in case of SC / ST, BC and blind candidates)

Online registration can be done at

Download and print bank fee deposit slip during the online registration process. Deposit fees with that bank slip at any branch of State Bank of India. The fee to be deposited is Rs. 900/- for SC / ST and Rs. 1800/- for others.

The Entrance Test will be held only in CHANDIGARH on Sunday, 7th July, 2013 from 10.00 am to 11.30 am.

Important Dates:

Last date for submission of information on the website to generate the Bank Challan: 10.06.2013 (Monday)

Last date for deposit of fee in any branch of State Bank of India using website generated challan: 13.06.2013 (Thursday) up to 4:00 pm.

Last date for submission of fee details (journal no.; branch code and date of deposit given by Bank) and uploading of photograph, signature with rest of the information on the website: 17.06.2013 (Monday)
