in Computational Biology Admission Notice 2014
The Institute of Mathematical Sciences, Chennai has
invited applications for admission to Ph.D. Programme in Computational Biology
starting in July 2014.
Prerequisites:
Students with a masters degree in any field of
science or engineering, who have strong mathematical skills and an interest in
biology. Students should apply with the results of one or more of the following
national tests:
JEST
(physics, computer science)
NBHM
(mathematics)
GATE
(engineering)
NET (all
sciences)
Holders of national fellowships such as CSIR-SRF,
DST-INSPIRE etc may apply directly.
Shortlisted candidates will be interviewed.

Include with your application: A covering letter, A
statement of interest, A curriculum vitae including university grades/marks,
Results of relevant national test (JEST, NBHM, GATE, NET) OR proof that you
hold a national-level government fellowship (CSIR-SRF, DST-INSPIRE, etc).
