Summer Students' Visiting Programme (SSVP 2014)
Institute of Physics, Bhubaneswar has invited
applications from bright students to work in exciting research areas of
Theoretical Physics and Experimental Physics through Summer Students' Visiting
Programme (SSVP 2014) scheduled to be conducted during May 06 - June 16, 2014
Eligibility:
Those completing their MSc / BTech / BE degrees in
2015. i.e.,
Those in the 1st year of 2 year MSc (Physics) OR
4th year of Integrated MSc. (Physics)
4th year of BE / BTech (interested in either of the
above mentioned areas)
Financial
Assistance:
Selected candidates will be paid a stipend (@
Rs.5000/- per month) for the above period.
Round trip second sleeper train fare will also be reimbursed on
completion of the project. In addition, candidates will be provided free hostel
accommodation.
Selected candidates must be present in the
Institute for the entire duration of the summer programme.
How to apply:
Download the application form, fill up (using BLOCK
letters) and sign it. You can either send it along with other required
documents (mark sheet / grade card) by regular postal mail OR scan the
documents and send by email to ssvp@iopb.res.in
(Email applications are
encouraged). The completed application
form should be sent so as to reach us on or before April 18, 2014.
