Who can
apply
Candidates who have a basic degree in life
sciences/ biotechnology/ biomedical sciences and have a Ph.D. in the
disciplines relevant to the above areas of research are encouraged to apply.
Candidates who are already in employment can also apply on a full time
deputation basis. The candidates should not be more than 40 years of age on the
last date for the submission of application.
Candidates should possess a Ph.D. degree as on the
last date of application. Those who have only submitted their thesis and are
awaiting final results are not eligible to apply
How to apply
Application should be printed on an A4 size white
paper and should contain a passport size photograph along with detailed
information about the educational qualifications, research experience,
employment history, publications with impact factors, h index of the candidate
and patents. Documentary evidences should be attached for the above claims.
Testimonials from two referees in sealed envelopes
should be submitted along with the application. One of the two referees should
be the candidates Ph.D. supervisor/ supervisor in the current occupation (if
employed) and other who is an expert in the area and well acquainted with the
candidate's work.
Along with the application a brief research concept
pertaining to the individual's area of research expertise and fitting to the
mandate of TRPVB should also be submitted. The concept note received with the
applications will be kept confidential. However the selected candidate may be
required to work on a different research area at the discretion of the
Director, TRPVB. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the interview.
Last date for applications to reach TRPVB is on or before
15th September 2014
