Admission Notice 2015
Applications
are invited from eligible candidates for admission to the 2-year (4-semester)
full-time MBA (Master of Business Administration) programme 2015 at Mesra, and
it's Off Campuses at Allahabad, Jaipur, Kolkata, Lalpur, Noida and Patna.
Eligibility
Criteria for the full-time MBA programme 2015:
(1)
Candidates must hold a recognized Bachelor's degree (minimum 10+2+3) in any
discipline.
(2)
Candidates must have minimum 50% marks or equivalent CGPA in Honours /
aggregate (45% for SC/ST/PwD) in graduation.
(3)
Candidates graduating in 2015 can also apply, provided they have at least
requisite marks as mentioned above (item 2) at the time of applying. They must
submit marksheets by 31 October 2015.
(4)
Candidates with qualifications acquired through correspondence or
distance-learning programmes are eligible only if (a) the programmes are
recognized by the DEC-IGNOU (b) they have passed the qualifying examination at
the time of applying, with minimum requisite marks in average calculated as per
item (2) above
(5)
Candidates must have appeared and valid Total Percentile / Score at least 40
(35 for SC/ST) in CAT-2014.
How
to Apply:
Online
form must be filled-in (available at https://www.bitmesra.ac.in)
and (a) Download the Bank Challan Form
(SBI/ICICI) from our website to deposit the application fee for Rs.2,500/-
(Rs.1,500/- for SC/ST) (non-refundable) in favour of Birla Institute of
Technology in a SBI / ICICI bank (b) Send a printout of the completed form with
requisite enclosures to the office of Dean Admissions & Academic
Coordination, Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Ranchi 835215 positively by 26
February 2015.
