Applications are open for the Integrated PhD Programme beginning August 2015, to the Schools of Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics only.

Step 1

Read the General Application Instructions given below carefully.

Fill up the registration form.

You will be sent a confirmation email for validation.

On validation you will be redirected to this online application page, go to Step 2.

Step 2

Enter your email and password in login form to access the Application Form.

Fill in the Application Form, Review and Submit.

General Application Instructions

Before filling the online application, please read the FAQs for the Int. Ph.D. and individual schools criteria.

Please download challan for application fee payment through State Bank of India PowerJyoti A/C.

Application Fee

GENERAL/OBC       Rs. 200/-

SC/ST  Rs. 100/-

Please note the Journal Number, Date of Remittance and SBI branch code number in which the application fee was paid. You need these to complete the online application.

All applicants have to upload the following documents (in the given format and size) along with the online application:

Scanned copy of the recent passport size photograph (JPG, 100 KB).

Scanned copy of applicants' signature (JPG, 100 KB).

Scanned copy of the proof of SC/ST Community Certificate (if Applicable)(PDF, 250 KB).

All fields marked in * are mandatory. DO NOT leave any fields empty; enter NA if the field is not applicable.

In case the final result (marks/GPA) of the Qualifying Degree is not available, please enter details based on marks/GPA available till the last semester.

On successful submission of the online application form Please download the application and retain with you as proof of application.

You may also log into the system later and download the application(s).

Additional information may be uploaded in pdf format (max 250 KB).

Applicants will be given an option to apply to any ONE more school – which he or she may choose to apply to.

NOTE: You may apply to a maximum of TWO schools in total.

Applicants will receive an acknowledgment email (to the email address provided by the applicant) with a unique application number. If you do not receive the email within 24 hrs and/or are not able to download the application form from the application website please send an email with details to phdprogramme@iisertvm.ac.in

Short-listed applicants will be invited for an aptitude-test/interview at IISER-TVM.

Applicants should download the Referee Report Form here and forward them to TWO referees, who may comment on your academic related credentials. The completed reports, obtained in sealed envelopes from the referees should be submitted by the candidates, directly at the time of attending the selection interviews.

Mere fulfilling the eligibility criterion does not entitle a candidate to be called for the test and interview.
