PGDM / MBA Admission Notice 2015
TSM
offers two management programmes at post graduate level;
The
Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) and the Master of Business
Administration (MBA).
Both
are AICTE approved and 2year full-time fully residential programmes.
Both
are premium programmes, comparable to similar programmes offered by leading
B-schools in the country. The PGDM programme, however, is TSM’s FLAGSHIP
programme, and offers certain exclusive features, which are detailed in the
admission brochure.
Eligibility PGDM / MBA : Graduate in any discipline
or will be graduating by May 2015.
Entrance
Test
Selection
will be, inter alia, based on CAT 2014/ MAT after August 2014/CMAT September
2014 or February 2015/XAT 2015 score, previous academic performance and the
performance during the personal interview.
If
the candidate has taken more than one test, the candidate is required to
furnish ALL their test scores. The best test score after moderation will be
considered for evaluation.
TSM
uses CAT/MAT/CMAT/XAT to short list candidates for the two-year full time Post
Graduate Programmes in Management. The IIMs/XLRI or any other agencies play no
role either in the TSM admission process or in the actual conduct of TSM
programmes.
Application
Step
1: Download the common application form for admission to TSM’s PGDM & MBA
programme from the TSM website.
Step
2: Purchase a bank demand draft for Rs. 1050/- (Rupees One Thousand and Fifty
Only) in favour of Thiagarajar School of Management payable at Madurai towards
fee for processing application.
Step
3: Send the duly filled application form along with the demand draft for
Rs.1050/- by courier/registered post to the following address:

Alternatively,
you can purchase the application kit from TSM campus by paying Rs.1050/- in
cash.
Admission
Process
Candidates
will be shortlisted for a personal interview on the basis of the admission test
score, prior academic performance and relevant work experience. At the time of
personal interview, written, verbal and analytical abilities of the candidates
would also be examined. Final selection of candidates for admission will be
based on composite factors such as admission test scores, academic record,
relevant work experience (if applicable) and performance in the personal
interview, group discussion and essay writing.
Merit
based scholarships will be offered to a limited number of candidates with
outstanding performance in the entire selection process.
