Notice regarding Admission to Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) Programme - 2015

On-line applications are invited from candidates desirous to seek admission to the regular B.Ed. Programme at the Central University of Kashmir. Details regarding eligibility and conduct of Entrance Test are given as under:

1. Intake capacity: 100 seats (50 seats in-service + 50 seats pre-service candidates)

2. Duration of Programme: one year

3. Eligibility Criteria: Graduation in any stream (Three Years) with at least: 50% Marks for open category, and 45% Marks for SC/ST/OBC/PHC

4. Last date for submission of online Application form:16-03-2015 Applications submitted after last date shall not be accepted in any case whatsoever.

5. Date of Downloading of Hall Tickets & Centre Notice: 23.03.2015 onwards.

6. Entrance Test Fees :  General and OBC category: Rs 300/- to be deposited through generated challan only.·  SC, ST and PHC candidates: Rs 150/-·

7. Conduct of Entrance Test: 29.03.2015. (Sunday) Answer key shall be available at 6:00 P.M onwards on the same day at the University website www.cukashmir.ac.in  

8. Declaration of Result: 04.04.2015 Admissions shall be strictly on the basis of merit secured in the Entrance Test.

9. Syllabus for Entrance Test: Section Category Marks MCQs Section I Teaching Aptitude 20 1-20 Section II General English 25 21-45 Section III General Studies 35 46-80 Section IV Mental Aptitude and Reasoning 10 81-90

10. The duration of the Entrance Test shall be 90 minutes for 90 MCQs. Reservation for SC/ ST/ OBC/PHC candidates shall be as per the Central Government norms and 50 % seats shall be reserved for the in-service teachers of the state government.

How to Apply:-

1. The teachers with at least 2 years teaching experience and having requisite qualifications as mentioned herein above shall have to apply through the proper channel for being considered as ‘Deputed Candidates’. The teacher candidates shall be exempted from Entrance Test, if the number of applications received is equivalent to or less than the seats reserved for them. In case of residual vacancies in the in-service category, the same shall be filled from Pre-service category candidates. 2. Pre-service Candidates are required to fill the Online Application Forms available on the University Website (http://www.cukashmir.ac.in).  However, the in-service candidates after filling application forms and submitting the application fee have to forward the hard copy of the application form duly signed by their respective Head of the Institute/School by or before 25.03.2015 as given in “Annexure A”. Also, all the selected in-service candidates shall produce the NOC from the Competent Authority as given in the format “Annexure B” before joining the Programme.
