NUUGET – 2015 (NITTE UNIVERSITY UG ENTRANCE TEST)
All India Nitte University UG Entrance
Test-NUUGET-2015 shall be conducted on 11-05-2015 (Monday), for candidates
seeking admission to M.B.B.S. and B.D.S. courses in its constituent colleges,
namely K.S. Hegde Medical Academy and A.B. Shetty Memorial Institute of Dental
Sciences, for the academic year 2015-16.
Eligible candidates desiring to appear for the
Entrance Test may submit the online application, available on our website www.nitte.edu.in as per the procedure stated in the Brochure.
Completely filled in application (COLOR print) of three pages duly signed,
along with a recent colored passport size photograph (taken within past 3
months) and a registration fee of Rs. 1,500/- through DD or acknowledgement of
ONLINE PAYMENT should be sent to the Registrar, Nitte University, Deralakatte,
Mangaluru– 575 018 by Speed Post ONLY or may be handed over in person at the
University Office on any working day before the last date for receipt of
applications, 25-04-2015
(Saturday).

Test Timings: 10.00 am to1.00 pm [Note:The
selection of candidates, however, is dependent on the decision of the Hon’ble

Students’ admission to MBBS and BDS courses in the
constituent colleges, namely, K.S. Hegde Medical Academy and A.B. Shetty
Memorial Institute of Dental Sciences, respectively, during the year 2015-16
offered by the Nitte University is based on inter-se Merit in the All India
Entrance Test for UG courses, NUUGET – 2015, conducted by the Nitte University.
Eligibility:
Candidates who fulfill the following criteria shall
be eligible to appear for the Entrance Test:
1. A
candidate who has passed the Second year Pre - University or 12th standard or
equivalent examination not earlier to 2013 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology
as optional subjects and English as one of the languages of study and obtained
an aggregate minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology put
together. However, in case of SC/ST candidates it is 40%
2. The
candidates who are appearing for the prescribed qualifying examination and
expecting the minimum percentage of marks as at (1) are also eligible to apply.
3. Must
be 17 or more years of age as on 31-12-2015.
4. Must
be a citizen of India.
Note: Applications are liable for rejection if (i)
It is not online (ii) Incomplete and incorrect (iii) Received after the last
date (25-04-2015) (iv) Not signed by the candidate himself/herself on the COLOR
print copy of application submitted online. (v) Photograph is not of recent
origin (taken within past 3 months) (vi) Registration fee of Rs. 1500/-is not
paid.
3. Entrance Test Fee The candidates are required to
pay the registration fee of Rs.1500/-(Non-Refundable) through ONLINE PAYMENT/
Demand Draft (any Nationalized Bank) in favour of NITTE UNIVERSITY, payable at
Mangalore.
4. Intake : MBBS (4 ½ years + 1 year Internship)
-150 Seats (Subject to Govt. Notification) BDS (4 years +1 year Internship) -
100 Seats
5. Procedure
for Filling and Submitting the Application: The Application should be filled and submitted
online with all relevant information.·
Before starting to fill the online
application keep the following information ready·
o Scanned Photograph o PAN Card Numbers of Father & / or Mother o Details
of unique ID proof (Voter ID /Passport / PAN Card /Ration Card/ Driving License
/ Aadhar Card/Acknowledgement of Aadhar) to be produced throughout the process
o Registration or Roll No. or Index no. of SSLC & Registration Number of
PUC/ 10+2/ 12th standard / or an equivalent examination o Marks of II PUC in
Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English if available o If payment mode is
demand draft, keep the D.D ready. Fill
the application online, click submit and then take a colour printout of the
same· (3 pages) Signature on each page where there is an *
mark· Obtain the signature and seal of the Principal
/ Head Master of the college where·
candidate has studied PUC/ 10+2 / 12th standard or an equivalent examination
Verify the following before sending the application
o Colour print of all three pages of application o Signature of the candidate
on each page o Signature of the Principal/Headmaster at the indicated site o
Enclose a copy of your coloured passport size photograph taken within the past
three months. o Enclose the D.D, if the payment mode is D.D or a printout copy
of the acknowledgement of online payment.
After ensuring all the above, submit/send your
application by speed post only

(provides tracking opportunities) or it may be handed over in person at the
university office. It should be addressed to ‘The Registrar, Nitte University,
Deralakatte, Mangaluru (D.K) – 575 018.
The last date for receipt of applications by post or by hand
is 25-04-2015.
