MBBS ADMISSIONS 2009-2010
BLDE University, Smt. Bangaramma Sajjan Campus, Sholapur Road, Bijapur, Karnataka-586103 has invited applications for admission to the MBBS Course at Shri B.M.Patil Medical College Hospital & Research Centre, Bijapur.
Selection to the course will be based on the BLDE UGET 2009 to be held from 10 am to 1 pm on May 24, 2009 (Sunday) at Bijapur, Bangalore, New Delhi, Ahmedabad, Indore Chennai, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Pune, Ranchi, Raipur, Jaipur, Vijayawada, Jammu and Guwahati.
BLDEU-UGET-2009 will have 60 questions each from Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Candidates are required to mark their answers on an OMR (Optical Mark Reader) sheet. Correct answer for each question will be awarded one mark. There is no negative mark.
Applicant should have completed 17 years of age on or before 31st December 2009 and should have passed the qualifying examination which is 2nd PUC or 10+2 Higher Secondary/equivalent examination with the last two years of study comprising of Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB) subjects with English as a compulsory subject. The candidates must have passed these subjects individually. The minimum percentage of marks for Admission shall be 50% for candidates belonging to General Category and 40 percent for candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward classes, as declared by the Government of Karnataka from time to time.
Those who appearing/have appeared for qualifying examination i.e.PUC II/ 10+2/HSC or equivalent but whose results have not been declared will also be considered to appear for BLDEU–UGET-2009, provided they have appeared for above mentioned subjects at the said examination.
Foreign/PIO/NRI students need not appear for BLDEU-UGET-2009. Their admission will be based on marks of qualifying examination.
Application forms can be downloaded from http://www.bldeuniversity.org/ till April 25, 2009. Data entry is to be made by the candidate before generating the application form. Application cannot be submitted online.
Applicant has to take a Demand Draft/at par cheque for Rs.1,500/- drawn in favour of 'The Registrar, BLDE University', payable at Bijapur, Karnataka State. Full name and application number should be noted on the back of D.D
Filled up application with all documents and DD/at Par Cheque should reach 'The Registrar, BLDE University, Smt. Bangaramma Sajjan Campus,Sholapur Road, Bijapur, Karnataka - 586103, by 5 pm on May 4, 2009.
The provisional annual tuition fee is Rs.3,25,000/-
