Applications have been invited from interested and eligible candidates for admission to the following programmes of the Birla Institute of Technology (BIT), Mesra for the session 2011-12.
a) PG Diploma in Clinical Research
b) PG Diploma in Clinical Data Management
Eligibility:
B. Pharm degree from PCI & AICTE approved Institute or must hold MBBS / B.Tech Biotechnology / BVSc / BDS / BAMS / M.Sc. Life Sciences / M.Sc. Analytical Chemistry / M.Sc. Biochemistry degree.
Selection Procedures:
Provisional selections to the PG Diploma in Clinical Research and Clinical Data Management programmes will be on the basis of previous academic record, written test and/or personal interviews, provided that the candidates fulfill the eligibility criteria. Syllabus of the test will be same as for GPAT 2011.
How to Apply:
Eligible candidates must download and print the application form on website: http://www.bitmesra.ac.in , and send the completed form along with two recent colour photographs (one pasted on the form and one attached by clip to the form), with photocopies of all marksheets and certificates and a crossed Demand Draft for Rs.1,500/- (non-refundable) in favour of Birla Institute of Technology, payable at Ranchi, in a stout A4 size envelope by Speedpost / Registered Post / reliable courier to the office of Dean Admission & Academic Coordination, Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Ranchi – 835215. Write “programme applied for on the envelope”.
List of enclosures:
1. Two recent colour photographs - one pasted on form and one attached by clip (write your Name and “programme applied for” on the back of the second photo)
2. Crossed demand draft for Rs.1,500/- (non-refundable) in favor of Birla Institute of Technology, payable at Ranchi (write your Name, telephone number and “programme applied for” on the back of the DD)
3. Photocopies of following documents and certificates (write your Name, telephone number and programme applied for on the back of each of these papers):
a) Pass certificate and Marksheet of Class 10
b) Marksheet of Class 12 / Intermediate or equivalent
c) Certificates and Marksheets of Graduation for graduates
d) Marksheets upto pre-final year for candidates who would be completing graduation / qualifying examination in 2011. They must also enclose photocopies of the following:
(i) A certificate in original from the Principal of their Institute stating that by 30 June 2011, they will have appeared for examination in all subjects required for obtaining their qualifying degree.
(ii) A certificate from the Principal certifying that they have obtained requisite marks or equivalent based on latest available grades / marks.
e) Caste certificate (if applicable), which should be in proper format and signed by appropriate authority of rank not less than SDO.
f) Candidates belonging to other special categories (Physically Handicapped) must provide photocopy of certificate in proper format from appropriate authority.
g) Photo identification: (Driving license, Passport, PAN Card, Voter ID, College ID, Employee Identification Card are acceptable)
4. Two slips of paper (10 cm x 10 cm) with name, address in capitals and phone number
