UNDER GRADUATE COURSES:
1. B.Tech. in Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Industrial Biotechnology & Mechanical Engineering (4 yr courses): As per the eligibility criteria of AIEEE-2011.
2. B. Arch (5 yr course): As perthe eligibility criteria of AIEEE-2011.
POST-GRADUATE COURSES:
3. MBA & MBA (Business Economics): Graduates with 50% marks or equivalent CGPA in any stream from a recognized University / Institution. Selection Basis: Short Listing by Valid MAT Score of Sept-2010, Dec-2010,Feb-2011 and May 2011 followed by Group Discussion and Personal Interview.
4. M.Tech (Computer Science & Engineering) : B.Tech./B.E degree with 60% marks or equivalent CGPA, in any Engineering discipline or M.Sc. in Physics or Mathematics from a recognized University / Institution.
5. M.Tech. (Manufacturing & Automation): B.Tech./B.E degree with 60% marks or equivalent CGPA, in Mechanical Production & Industrial Engineering from a recognized University/Institution.
6. M.Tech. (Electronics & Communication Engineering) : Graduates having B.E/B.Tech degree with 60% marks or equivalent CGPA, in Electronics / Electronics & Communication /Applied Electronics / Instrumentation & Control / Electronics & Instrumentation / Electrical / Electrical & Electronics Engineering / M.Sc (Physics) with Electronics Specialization/ M.Sc (Electronics) from a recognized University/Institute.
7. M.Sc. (Biotechnology) : Graduates with 55% marks in any stream with Bot./Zoo./Microbio./ Biotech./Biochemistry/Aghculture/Biosciences as a subject from a recognized University/Institution. Admission shall be made on the basis of Merit Rank obtained in Online Entrance Test to be conducted by Thapar University Patiala. SMVDU may conduct its own entrance exam for leftover seats.
8. M.Sc. (Physics) : Graduates with 55% marks in any stream with Physics/ Electronics as a subjectfrom a recognized University/Institution.
9. M.Sc. (Mathematics): Graduates with 55% marks in any stream with Mathematics as a subject from a recognized University/Institution.
10. M.A. (Philosophy): Graduates with 50% marks in any stream from a recognized University/Institution.
11. M.A. (English): Graduates with 50% marks in any stream with English as a subject from a recognized University/ Institution
HOW TO APPLY:
The Prospectus shall be available for sale on cash payment of Rs.1015/- for (S.No. 1-6) & Rs. 315/- for (S. No. 7-11) from the following branches of Jammu & Kashmir Bank Ltd. The DDs should be drawn in favour of Registrar, SMVDU, payable at Jammu/ Katra.
Candidates applying for more than one Programme(s) (as mentioned at S. No. 1 to 11) need to fill separate application forms.
