The Department of S.ocial work, University of Delhi uurnounces admission work for the academic to M.A. in Social and premier The department of social work is one of the oldest institutions in India offering a Two Year Post-graduate degree in social work. This postgraduate course is primarily designed for those who seek opportunities in the field of Social welfare and development practice.
Eligibitity criteria: Admission to the Department of social work is open to both men and women having completed a Bachelolors degree programme of 3 years duration from a recognized University. The eligibility criteria are as follows:
a) Any person with a Bacheror's Degree or its equivalent (under discipline with minimum the 10+2+3 year) in any discipline with 55% marks from a recognized universiy are eligibile to apply.
b) B'A' (H) social work students with minimum of 50% marks from a recognized universiy are eligibile to apply.
c) Those candidates who are'appearing degree in the final year examination of the Bachelor,s are also eligible to apply subject to the qualification listed above.
d) the candidates belongs to SC/ST shall be eligible as per Derhi University
rures to pass with minimum marks.
e) PwD candidates shall be allowed 5% relaxation in the eligibility requirement.
f)candidates belonging to oBC category shall be eligible for admission as per university norms.
selection Procedure:
Those satisfying eli-gibilitr requirements will be assessed for selection through a two-stage process involving (a) written test and (b) Group Discussion and personal Interview' The admission test will be on 22nd June 2012 at delhi. The new academic session shall commence from 16th July, 2012 Admission Bulletin along with application forms shall be available from April 30th, 2012 to 13th June, 2012 and may be obtained from the Department of Social Work against cash payment of Rs 650/- (Rs.450 for SC/ST candidates) with a demand draft of Rs.700 (Rs.500 for SC/ST candidates)drawn in favour of Registrar' University of Delhi, payable at Delhi. Last date for receipt of completed applications at the Department by hand or by post is June 20th, 2012.
