A) How to obtain Application form & Prospectus:
1. Online application for admission to the courses is accepted. Log on https://www.mponline.gov.in and click on CITIZEN SERVICES. Online application for general category including portal fee is Rs. 350/- (Rs. 250/- for M.P.'s SC/ST candidates)
2. Sending a letter of request giving Name, Address & Telephone No. (if available) with a DD of Rs. 350/- (Rs. 250/- for M.P.'s SC/ST candidates) drawn in favor of Registrar, Makhanlai Chaturvedi National University of Journalism & Communication, Bhopal, payable at Bhopal.
3. Download the application form and prospectus from University website www.mcu.ac.in. In this case, the application form must be accompanied by a DD of Rs. 350/- (Rs. 250/- for M.P.'s SC/ST candidates) drawn in favor of Registrar, Makhanlai Chaturvedi National University of Journalism & Communication, Bhopal, payable at Bhopal.
4. Obtain the prospectus with application form from any of the campuses (Bhopal, Noida and Khandwa) on cash payment of Rs. 350/-(Rs. 250/- for M.P.'s SC/ST candidates).
B) The Courses have been divided into different groups for admission.
Detailed information regarding groups is available in the prospectus and university website. Each candidate can apply for one or more courses. Candidates should a separate applications form for each additional course.
Additional form can be obtained for Rs. 250/- (Rs. 150/- for M.P.'s SC/ST candidates) as per point no. 1 to 3 above. Additional downloaded form has to be accompanied by a DD of Rs. 250/- (Rs. 150/- for M.P.'s SC/ST candidates) drawn in favour of Registrar, Makhanlai Chaturvedi National University of Journalism & Communication, Bhopal, and payable at Bhopal. In case of online application for admission to an additional course, for each additional course Rs. 250/- (including portal fee) (Rs. 150/- for M.P.'s SC/ST candidates) is payable.
C) ADMISSION TO THE COURSES WILL BE ON THE BASIS OF THE ENTRANCE EXAM CONDUCTED BY THE UNIVERSITY AND THE MERIT LIST PREPARED THEREAFTER. THE DATE FOR ENTRANCE EXAM IS 10 JUNE 2012. RESERVATION POLICY OF THE GOVT. OF MADHYA PRADESH WILL BE FOLLOWED. ENTRANCE EXAM WILL BE CONDUCTED IN BHOPAL, KOLKATA, LUCKNOW, PATNA, RANCHI, JAIPUR, DELHI / NOIDA AND KHANDWA.
D) THE LAST DATE TO RECEIVE THE FILLED IN APPLICATION FORM IS 31stMAY 2012. THE FILLED APPLICATIONFORM SHOULD REACH TO BHOPAL CAMPUS.
'Applications are also invited for Ph.D. Admission in Ph.D. wil be done on the basis of a separate entrance test. The information of entrance test wi be given to the applicants separately.
