Eligibility      Candidates satisfying at least one of the following two criteria may apply:
• IIT-JEE 2012:Students obtaining a minimum of 60% marks in class XII and securing a place in the rank list
• Central & State Boards: Students qualifying in Class XII in 2011 or 2012 in Science Stream with either
1) Marks above the cut-off percentage declared on the DST website for the INSPIRE eligibility in http://www.inspire-dst.gov.in/lnspire-Advertisement.pdf.

Note: For OBC (non-creamy layer) and PD category: 5% relaxation on DST cut-off is admissible. For SC/ST category: 60% in class Xllforallboardsin2011or2012. Or
2) Advisory note for the eligibility in scholarship for higher education (SHE) under INSPIRE scheme.
All the students appearing through the Central and State Boards stream must qualify the USER Aptitude Test.

Admissions to Dual BS - MS Program 2012
In order to promote high quality scientific research and training, Ministry of Human Resource Development(MHRD), Government of India has set up five Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research at Bhopal, Kolkata, Mohali, Pune and Thiruvananthapuram.
