IMBA (BBA+MBA Integrated Programme)Admissions 2012
On-line Applications are invited by University of Kashmir from the eligible candidates for admission to 5 Year IMBA (BBA+MBA Integrated Programme) Session-2012 at The Business School, Main Campus, University of Kashmir and at North Campus, Baramulla.
Eligibility
A candidate must have passed 10+2 from a recognized Board or equivalent examination in any stream with minimum marks of 50% (Open Merit) and 45% (Reserved categories). The age of candidates should not be more than 21 years
Mode of Selection:
The selection of a candidate for the admission to the programme shall be strictly based on academic merit and his / her performance in the UGAT, Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI). The marks assigned to each component shall be as under:
A) Academic merit in the qualifying examination= 30 Marks
B) Entrance Test Merit= 70 Marks
The Entrance test merit shall be worked as;
1. UGAT Score (Composite) 75%
2. Group Discussion (GD) 15%
3. Personal Interview (PI) 10%
Based on the composite score obtained in UGAT, triple the number of seats available shall be shortlisted for GD and PI.
Availability of Prospectus:
The programme Prospectus 2012, bearing a distinct Serial Number inside prospectus at page No. 20, shall be available, against a cash payment of Rs. 250/- at the Sale Counters of The Business School University of Kashmir.
Submission of Online Application Forms:
Visit http://www.kashmiruniversity.net and click on Link Admissions 2012.
Deposit the Fee of Rs. 300/- (plus Rs. 10/- Bank charges) against the Pay-in-Slip generated with the Application Form in any of the branches of the J&K Bank Ltd. across the Country.
Submission of downloaded Application Forms (Hard copy):
The candidates after submitting their Online Application Forms must submit the downloaded Form (hard copy) with the following documents in the office of the Director, The Business School, University Campus Hazratbal, Srinagar and obtain a receipt for record.
i) Marks Certificate of the examinations passed
ii) Copy of Valid UGAT score Card
iii) Original Copy of the receipt obtained against purchase of Prospectus
iv) Receipt of fee Rs. 300/- deposited in J&K Bank (University Copy)
v) Reserved Category Certificate (if claiming admission under Reserved Category)
