Five year Integrated BA/MA Programme

Applications have been invited by Tata Institute of Social Sciences for admission to following Five Year Integrated Programmes commencing this year.

1) BA in Social Sciences (3 years) (2012-15)
2) Masters in Arts (2 years) (2015-17)


Eligibility Criteria
  • Students should have passed 12th Class or Intermediate in any subject stream from a recognised Board in one attempt (no compartments).
  • Candidates who have appeared for their HSC final exams and are awaiting results are also eligible to apply. Final pass result should be produced at the time of joining the programme, if selected. 
Age Limit
Candidate should be less than 20 years of age at the time of appearing for the TISS-BAT, as on June 10, 2012.

Reservation
Reservation of seats is as per GoI requirements: 15% for Scheduled Castes, 7.5% for Scheduled Tribes and 27% for Other Backward Classes (Non-Creamy Layer). Supernumerary Seats: 3% for Persons with Disability; 1% for Kashmiri Migrants; and 15% for international students.

Entrance Test: 
An online entrance test will be held on July 15, 2012, in a number of Centres across the country. Candidates have to take an online test at the Centre of their preference indicated in the application.

Application Fees Rs. 975 (Rs.950 application fee + Rs.25 as bank processing charges) to be deposited in Power Jyoti account or payment getaway.

Mode of Payment:
Online Payment by Credit Card/Debit Card (Rs. 975)
Online Payment by Net Banking (Rs. 975)
Cash Deposit in any SBI Branch using the prescribed challan (RS. 950 + bank charges)

Last date of online submissions and receipt of completed application forms: June 30, 2012
