The discrete card in that HP Pro Book is fine for CAD. You don't need workstation graphics card unless you want photo realistic rendering (which isn't necessary for school).
solidworks support
Well, I have been drawing, for many years now, an invention I have had of mine. Now I want to start prototyping and becoming more active on my invention. I need to three dimensionally design my experiment, cheaply. I know what some of you might say, "just do it in real life" But that is very expensive . So basically, what is a good, easy, three dimensional design software, that is free?.
