Admission Notice-2012

Applications are invited for admission to media courses for the academic session 2012-13

B.A. (Mass Communication) (3 years), Five year Integrated Course in Multimedia (B.Sc-M.Sc) (3+2 years), 

Five year Integrated Course in Graphics and Animation (B.Sc-M.Sc) (3+2 years)

Eligibility: 10+2 with 50% marks (minimum pass marks for SC/ST)

Admission on the basis of merit of qualifying examination

M.Sc (Mass Communication) (2 years), M.Sc (Electronic Media) (2 years), 

M.A. (Journalism and Mass Communication) (2 years)

Eligibility: Bachelor degree with 50% marks (minimum pass marks for SC/ST)

Date of entrance test: 14th July, 2012, 11.00 a.m. to 01.00 p.m.

Application Form: 

Prospectus and information booklet, media courses 2012-13 containing application form, instructions and guidelines for admission can be obtained from the Manager (P&P), Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra from 11th June, 2012 by remitting a sum of Rs 400/- (Rs 100/- for SC/BC candidates of Haryana)

If requested by Regd Post, Price is Rs 450/- (Rs 150/- for SC/BC candidates of Haryana)

In case of PG Media Courses (MA Journalism and Mass Communication, M.Sc Mass Communication and M.Sc Electronic Media) application must be accompanied with a demand draft worth Rs 400/- (Rs 100/- for SC/BC candidates of Haryana) in favour of Registrar, Kurukshetra University payable at Kurukshetra as entrance test fee

Application form, instructions and guidelines for admission to media courses can also be downloaded from the university website www.kuk.ac.in, such forms must be accompanied with demand draft amounting Rs 400/- (Rs 100/- for SC/BC candidates of Haryana) in case of undergraduate courses and Rs 800/- (Rs 200/- for SC/BC candidates of Haryana) in case of post graduate courses where admission is through entrance test

Bank demand draft should be drawn in favour of Registrar, Kurukshetra University payable at Kurukshetra

Last date for submission of application form is 10th July, 2012 in the office of the Director, Institute of Mass Communication and Media Technology, Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra (Haryana)

All courses are highly job oriented and also prepare students for self employment
