ADMISSION NOTICE FOR REGULAR TRAINING COURSES - 2012

Centralized Admission Committee of IGTR, Ahmedabad finder the supervision of Directorate of Technical Education, Gujarat State for Diploma in Tod & Die Making and Directorate of Employment & Training, Gujarat State for Certificate course in Machinist- Tool Room invites applications from boys & girls in the prescribed form for admission into the following courses commencing from August-2012.

Duration,Intake,Qualification,Age, Course Fees
1.Diploma in Tool & Die Making (DTM).Four Years,60,15-19 years As on 1/8/2012,Rs.15,000/-per semester
Eligibility:10 pass with Science, Maths & English from SSC Board OR its equivalent with minimum of 60% (Aggregate) marks (50% marks for SC/ST/PH Candidates

2.Certificate course in Machinist - Tool Room (CMT)Two Years followed by one year paid internship,40,

Eligibility:10 pass with Science, Maths & English from SSC Board OR its equivalent with minimum of 50% (Aggregate) marks (40% marks for SC/ST/PH candidates).Rs.11,250/-per semester

1. "Diploma in Tool & Die making* is approved by AICTE (routine approval awaited), recognized by Technical Examination Board, Gujarat state &accreolBdbythelnsMonofEngineers(lndia).

2. *CerBficat8 course in Machinist-Tool Room" is approved by DirectorateofEmployment&Training.

3. INTERNSHIP: On successful completion of Diploma in Tool & Die making, Hie Trainees may have to undergo oneyear Internship, at the discretion of the General Manager, IGTR, Ahmedabad

4. Reservatxxi for SC/ST/SEBC/PH categories wS! be applicable as per State Government norms.

5. The candidates bom before 01* August 1993 and after3i*July 1997 are not eligible.

6. Selection is based on the marks secured in the qualifying examination (SSC Board) and IGTR Entrance Test

7. Hostel facilities: - Limited hostel faoities for both boys & girls are available.

8. Mediitm of the instructkin for the courses is English.

9. Free special coaching classes for preparation of entrance examination will be organized for SC/ST/PH eligible candidates from date 5 July to-14July2012. The application prescribed Perfoma will be issued with prospectus.

10.Upward age relaxation of 3years will be given for candidates belorsging to SC/ST category.    '

How to apply: Prescribed application form and prospectus with information on Entrance Test can be obtained from the Tool Room at the address mentioned above by sending a crossed Demand Draft for Rs.400/- for Diploma Course and Rs.3O0/- for Certificate Course drawn in favour of Indo German Tod Room, Ahmedabad drawn on any nationalized bank payable at Ahmedabad or by cash in person. Candidates desiring the application form by post may add Rs.50/'- to the above amount and enclose self addressed envelope of size 24 cm x 17 cm along with the application.
