INVITES APPLICATIONS FOR JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOWSHIP AND RESEARCH ASSOCIATES
Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC), Thiruvananthapuram of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) invites application for JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOWSHIP (JRF) AND RESEARCH ASSOCIATES (RA) tenable at Propellants Polymers, Chemicals and Materials (PCM) Entity of VSSC from motivated candidates to work in one of the areas, namely, Polymer-derived Ceramics, Speciality Polymers, Nano Materials, Composites, High Energy Materials, Electrochemical Energy Systems, Molecular Modeling, Material characterization etc. under the guidance of Senior Scientists. In the case of JRFs, the research work will lead to Ph.D Degree.
JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOW
No. of Positions ; 6 (six)
Eligibility:
M.Sc. Degree in Chemistry (General/Orqanic/lnorganic/ Analytical/Polymer/Applied/lndustrial) with First Class or equivalent with minimum 60% marks as average of all semesters or CGPA/CPI grading of 6.5 on a 10 point scale or equivalent). Those who are slated to complete the M.Sc. course in the academic year 2011 -12 are also eligible to apply provided final year mark list (satisfying the eligibility criteria) is produced at the time of Written test/Interview.
Age Limit:
28 years as on 26.06.2012 (31 years for 0BC candidates and 33 years in case of SC/ST candidates. Persons with Disability are eligible for age relaxation as per rules).
RESEARCH ASSOCIATE
No. of Positions: 3 (THREE)
Eligibility:
Ph.D in Science (Chemistry/Materials Science) having carried out the Ph.D work in any one of the following Areas: Polymer Chemistry, Propellants, Inorganic & Organometallic Polymers, Inorganic Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Polymer-derived Ceramics, Electrochemistry, Electrochemical Energy Systems, Ceramics, Nano Materials and Molecular Modeling.
Age Limit:
35 years as on 26.06.2012 (38 years for 0BC candidates and 40 years in case of SC/ST candidates. Persons with Disability are eligible for age relaxation as per rules).

The application format for on-line registration is available in the above website from 1000 hours on 12.06.2012 to 1700 hours on 26.06.2012.
