Diploma
Programmes (Evening) in the Polytechnic Colleges Admissions 2013-2014
Directorate of Technical Education under Govt. of
kerala has invited applications for admission to Diploma Programmes (Evening)
in the Polytechnic Colleges under it for the Academic Year 2013-14.
There will
be two streams of diploma programmes.
Stream 1 : Diploma in Engineering/Technology.
Stream 2 : Diploma in Commercial Practice / Management.

Eligibility
for Admission
Qualification:
The minimum qualification prescribed for admission is SSLC / THSLC or
equivalent examination with eligibility for higher studies.
Age: The
candidates should have completed a minimum of 18 years as on 1st June of the
Academic year of admission.
Experience:
Candidates with a minimum of 2 years professional experience shall be given
priority. For this, the experience gained by the candidates after attaining the
required qualification in Government, Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs), Public
/ Private Limited companies may be considered. The relevant details of ESI/PF
shall be insisted for candidates from Limited companies.
Prospectus
& Submission of Applications:
The prospectus will be available for free download
from the website www.polyadmission.in.
The candidates will be required to submit their
applications online at http://polyadmission.in/dipappn.php
Application
Fee: The application fee shall be Rs. 100/- for each Diploma Programme per
one district. For scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe candidates, it shall be
Rs.50/-. If a candidate submits application for more than one diploma programme
or more than one district, he/she will have to remit additional fee at the rate
of Rs. 100 for each diploma programme per one district. (Rs. 50 each for SC/ST
candidates). Candidates should remit required fee to the Principal of the
Polytechnic College where he/she submits the Application Form. The required fee
shall be printed in the application form.

Last date for Registration of applications at Polytechnic
Colleges and remitting the required fees: 26/07/2013 4 pm
Publication of Provisional Rank list: 29/07/2013
Last date for Appeal: 31/07/2013
Publication of Final Rank List & First Select List:
01/08/2013
Date of Admission based on First Select List : 02/08/2013 and
03/08/2013
Date of Chance Interview: 12/08/2013 and 13/08/2013
Classes for Ist Semester Begins on: 14/08/2013
