Undergraduate Courses: Full-Time

BBA: Bachelor of Business Administration: 3-years

Eligibility: 10+2 Pass

B.C.A.: Bachelor of Computer Application: 3-years

Eligibility: 10+2 Pass

B.P.E.: Bachelor of Physical Education: 3-years

Eligibility: 10+2 Pass

B.Sc. Agriculture: B.Sc Agriculture (Integrated): 6-years

Eligibility: 10+2 Pass

B.Sc. (Honours) Agriculture: 4-years

Eligibility: 10+2 (Non-Medical/Medical/Agriculture)

B.Tech. (CSE, ECE, ME, Civil, EE, PETROLEUM): 4-years

Doctorate/M.Phil Courses

M.Phil.: M.Phil in Computer Applications/M.Phil in Punjabi: 2-Years

Eligibility: Postgraduation in the relevant field with minimum of 55% marks in aggregate or CGPA of 6.0 on a 10 point scale

Ph.D (ECE, CSE, Mech, IT, Physics, Management, Computer Applications, Education): 3-Years Minimum

Eligibility: Admission is done on the basis of entrance test followed by interview by issue a separate notification

Diploma Courses:

Diploma: Diploma in Petrochemicals and Petro-refinery Engg: 3-Years

Eligibility: 10+2 Pass

Part-Time-Diploma Level Courses:

Diploma: Diploma (ME/EE/CSE/CIVIL/ECE): 4-Years

Admission Procedure:

Admission to all courses offered by the GKU is open to all eligible candidates

All admission are made on the basis of merit

For seeking admission to a course every candidate is required to submit an application form (available along with the Prospectus) complete in all respects with 10th July, 2013

A candidate offered admission on the basis of his application will be required to deposit the admission fee and other fees/funds along with original testimonials (for verification purposes) immediately

In case a candidate fails to deposit the requisite fees etc his admission will stand cancelled and admission against the seat falling so vacant will be offered to the next candidate on the merit list

Prospectus Available:

The prospectus can be obtained from the Admission Cell, GKU against a payment of Rs. 300/- (Three hundred only) in cash or through a demand draft or Registrar, Guru Kashi University, Talwandi Sabo, payable either at Talwandi Sabo or Bathinda at the Counter

Important Dates:

Last date for admission without late fee: 31st July, 2013

Last date for admission with a late fee of Rs. 5000/-: 15th August, 2013 (subject to the availability of vacant seat(s)

Last date for admission with a late fee of Rs. 10000/-: 31st August, 2013

(Subject however to the availability of vacant seats with the approval to the Vice Chancellor)
