Admissions 2013-2014

The Centre for Health Sciences, University of Calicut has invited applications for admission to following courses of Academic Year 2013-14.

1.  B.Sc. Medical Microbiology
2.  B.Sc. Medical Biochemistry
3.  B.Sc. Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT)

Eligibility:
A pass in Plus Two with Science Subjects with at least 50% marks each in Physics, Chemistry & Biology or any other qualification recognized as equivalent there by the University of Calicut. SC/ST/OEC candidates need only a pass in the qualifying examination

Admission:
Admission to B.Sc. Medical Microbiology and B.Sc. Medical Biochemistry courses will be on the basis of merit and entrance examination. The percentage of marks obtained for science subjects in the qualifying examination together with the score in the entrance test & conducted by the University will be considered for preparing the ranklist.

How to Apply:
Applications are to be submitted online till 30.07.2013, upto 5 P.M. on www.universityofcalicut.info

Signed print out of applications bearing passport size photograph attested by the Gazetted Officer along with:
(a)  The original chalan receipt for having remitted the fee of Rs.300/- (Rs.100/- for SC/ST candidates on the basis of valid community certificate issued by the competent authority) to Calicut University funds in Calicut University fee counter/Government Treasuries/Designated branches of SBT/Janansevankendra OR Demand Draft (only in the case of out of state candidates) drawn in favour the Finance Officer, University of Calicut, payable at SBT, Calicut University Branch.

(b)  Attested copies of certificates as proof of qualifications, age and community should be forwarded to The Director, Centre for Health Sciences, University of Calicut, Calicut University (P.O), Thenhipalam, Malappuram(Dt)- 673 635, so as to reach on or before 5 P.M. on 30.07.2013

The online registration I.D number should be written by the candidate on reverse side of the chalan receipt/DD as the case may be.
