(B.Ed/ D.Ed Special Education/ Diploma Vocational Rehabilitation)

National Institute for the Mentally Handicapped (NIMH), B.T. Road, Bonhooghly, Kolkata - 700 090 has invited applications from eligible candidates (as stated against the courses, below) for admission to the following courses of Academic Year 2014-15.

1. BEd Special Education (Mental Retardation)

Eligibility: Candidate who has passed BSc / BA / BCom / BMR / BRS (MR) and other equivalent degree with 50% marks on aggregate.

Age: Though there is no age bar, preference will be given to those below 35 years of age.

2. DEd. Special Education

Eligibility: Students who have passed Plus 2 examination / Junior College are eligible for the course

3. Diploma in Vocational Rehabilitation

Eligibility: A candidate must have completed Senior Secondary or equivalent examination in 10+2 Pattern. Preference will be given to candidates with engineering subjects in the vocational stream or with science in the academic stream.
