DIPLOMA IN YOGA SCIENCE
(D.Y.Sc.)
FOR GRADUATES (One Year
Duration Course)
Morarji
Desai National Institute of Yoga (MDNH ). Ncu Del in an autonomous organization
under Department of AYUSH. Ministry of Heall & Family Welfare, Govt, of
India invites applications for admission to Diploma in Yoga Science (D.Y.Sc.)
for Graduates, a regular noi residential course, of one year duration (02 Semesters)
for the academic year 2014-15.
Eligibility:
A candidate possessing Graduate Degree (qualifying examination) in
any discipline from a recognized University with minimui 50% marks in
aggregate. However, it will be 40% for SC/ST candidates. 5% weightage, over and
above the eligibility marks, will be given I those possessing Master Degree in
any subject.
Age
Limit: Candidate should not be more than 30 years as on 01.08.2014 (10 years
age relaxation for in-service candidates, who join the cours on deputation
through proper channel).
Intake
Capacity: 115 (GM-58, OBC-31, SC-17 & ST-9). In addition, 2 seats are
reserved for students from Andaman & Nieobar Islands, 2 ft North-East
States and 1 for Foreign student.
Medium
of Instruction: Hindi/English
Selection:
Selection will be on Merit cum Reservation basis on qualifying
examination and subject to the Medical fitness.
Hostel:
A stipend of? 3,000/- per month per student, in lieu of Hostel
accommodation, will be provided on merit to a maximum 23 students in batch, who
hail from the states other than Delhi and NCR (conditions apply).
Scholarship:
? 3,000/- per month will be awarded to 13 Indian students (Gen-7,
OBC-3, SC-2 & ST-1) on merit cum reservation basis on tr basis of
performance in the 1st semester examination of the course.
Fellowship: ? 8,000/- per month will be awarded to 2
students each from Andaman & Nieobar Islands and North-East States. The
application < those candidates shall be forwarded by the concerned
Health/AYUSH Deptt. of the States/ UT. However, the candidate may send an
advance cop of their application to MDNIY.

INSTRUCTIONS
The
application Form and Admission Brochure can be obtained from the office of
Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga (MDNIY), New Delhi on payment of Rs.
500/- on any working day. The application Form and Admission Brochure can be
obtained through registered/speed post on payment of Rs 600/- (including
postage) through demand draft of any Nationalized Bank in favour of-MORARJI
DESAI NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF YOGA, NEW DELHI", payable at New Delhi.
Cheques are not accepted. Application Form and Admission Brochure can also be
downloaded from Institute website www.yogamdniy.nic.in. In
that case the applicant shall deposit Rs 500/- at the time of submission of
application. The amount once remitted will not be refunded under any
circumstances. The Institute will not be responsible for delay, loss or damage
of die Application / Demand Draft for issuance of Prospectus after its despatch
from the Institute. The last date for receipt of the duly completed and signed
applications in MDNIY is 4th August 2014 (MONDAY) and for the candidates of
Andaman & Nieobar Islands and North-East States is 11.08.2014(MONDAY).
