ADMISSION NOTICE 2021

(Certificate Programme in Yoga/ Diploma Programme in Yoga)


SRC Community College, an institution promoted by State Resource Centre, Kerala invites applications for Certificate Programme in Yoga. This is six-month-long academic programme provides an opportunity to learn the philosophical and practical wisdom of Yoga. The students of this programme will get 20 days of practical sessions at the weekends. There will be 15 theory sessions on Introduction to yoga Philosophy, Yoga Postures and Pranayama, and Human Physiology and Yoga. Self-learning print materials are available in English and Malayalam language. Students can write the examinations either in English or in Malayalam. There are four courses/papers in this certificate programme. The assessment of the theory courses/papers is based on a 60+30+10 pattern. Sixty for the term-end examinations, thirty for the assignments written and submitted by the learners, and ten for the attendance. The programme fee is 6000/- and the application fee is Rs. 200/-

Diploma in Yoga Teacher Training is an Open Distance and Flexible Learning Programme designed and developed by State Resource Centre, Kerala for those who seek yoga education as a career. It aims at the skill building of people in yogic practices. It intends to meet the growing need for trained practitioners of yoga and thereby ensure quality in yoga education. The learner will be empowered to carry out yogic practices very effectively based on the requirement of clientele. On successful completion of the programme, the learner will be able to understand the history, philosophy, types and schools of yoga. The learner will be exposed to various practical skills on yogic exercises including asana, pranayama, kriya, mudra, bandha etc.
