M.Sc Instrumentation and Industrial Automation; M.Sc Electronics & Communication and M.Sc Material Science: A pass in H.Sc (10+2) level or equivalent thereto under academic stream with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.
Science:
M.Sc in Mathematics; M.Sc in Physics & M.Sc in Electronic Science: A pass in H.Sc (10+2) level or equivalent thereto with minimum aggregate of 50% marks under academic stream with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry
MSc Chemistry: A pass in H.Sc (10+2) level examination with 50% aggregate marks in any one of the combination (i) Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry (ii) Biology, Physics and Chemistry (iii) Botany, Physics and Chemistry (iv) Zoology, Physics and Chemistry.
M.Sc Environmental Science & M.Sc Biotechnology: A pass in H.Sc (10+2) level or equivalent thereto with minimum aggregate of 60% marks under academic stream with Physics, Chemistry & Biology or Botany & Zoology.
M.Sc Ocean Science & Technology: A pass in H.Sc (10+2) level or equivalent thereto under academic stream with Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry & Biology or Computer Science.
M.Sc Microbiology & M.Sc Bio Informatics: A pass in H.Sc (10+2) level or equivalent thereto with minimum aggregate marks of 50% under academic stream with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (or) Botany & Zoology (or) Computer Science.
M.Sc Applied Geology: : A pass in H.Sc (10+2) level or equivalent thereto with minimum aggregate of 50% under academic stream in any Science Group.
M.Sc Statistics with Computer Applications: A pass in H.Sc (10+2) level or equivalent thereto under academic stream with Mathematics, Business Mathematics/Computer Science as one of the subjects.
M.Sc Herbal Science & Botany: : A pass in H.Sc (10+2 level) Regular or vocational with Botany/Biology or Vocational course with Agriculture/Plant Production as one of the papers.
M.Sc Zoology & M.Sc Plant Science & Technology: A pass in H.Sc (10+2) level or equivalent thereto with a minimum aggregate of 50% under academic stream in Physics, Chemistry & Biology or Zoology & Botany.
M.Sc Marine Biology: A pass in H.Sc (10+2) level or equivalent thereto with a minimum aggregate of 50% under academic stream (Any Science Group with Mathematics as one of the subjects)
Education: M.Sc Clinical Psychology: A pass in H.Sc (10+2) level or equivalent thereto
In the case of SC/ST applicants, a pass is the minimum qualification for all courses. Applicants should have completed the age of 17 years as on 1.7.2009.
Application form and Prospectus can be obtained from the Registrar, Annamalai University, Annamalai Nagar- 608 002 on payment of the prescribed fee of Rs.150/- for SC/ST candidates and Rs.300/- for others, in person at the Cash Counter of the University on all working days.
It can be obtained from the Registrar, Annamalai University, Annamalai Nagar- 608 002, by Post by sending a Demand Draft taken in favour of The Registrar, Annamalai University, Annamalainagar from any bank. Payable at Chennai (with name and address of the candidate, name of the Programme for which the request is made written on the back side of the Draft), along with a self-addressed thick Kraft envelope of size 30 cm x 24 cm with stamps worth Rs.30/- affixed, name of the Programme for which application is required super-scribed on the envelope as well as in the requisition letter
