Applications have been invited by Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar from Haryana Residents for admission to the following programmes:
1. BSc (Hons.) Agriculture 4-year programme Food Science & Technology
2. MSc Bio-Informatics Molecular Biology & Biotechnology
3. BSc (Hons.) Home Science 4-year programme.
4. BSc (Hons)Agri. (after Matric) 6-year Programme.
5. BSc (Hons.) Home Science (after Matric) 6-year programme
6. Master’s Programmes in various disciplines in Agriculture, Agri. Engg., Basic Sciences and Home Science.
7. PG Diploma Courses:
i) Biotechnology
ii) Industrial Microbiology
iii) Human Nutrition and Dietetics
iv) School Counseling
v) Communication Skills in English
vi) English-Hindi Translation
Basis of Admission: For Sr. No. 1 to 2 merit in Entrance Test scheduled for 11.6.2011 (Second Saturday) and for others merit in the qualifying exam.
Application:
Prospectus along with admission form shall be on sale w.e.f. 26.4.2011. It can be obtained by post from the Assistant Registrar (Academic), CCS HAU, Hisar by sending Indian Postal Order or Bank Draft for R 550/- (R.175/- for SC/BC candidates) drawn in favour of Registrar, CCS HAU, Hisar payable at Hisar.
Prospectus can also be obtained on cash payment from:
Room No.202, Fletcher Bhawan, CCS HAU, Hisar Rs. 500/- (Rs. 125/- for SC/BC candidates)
All Krishi Vigyan Kendras of CCSHAU in Haryana Rs. 500/- (Rs. 125/- for SC/BC candidates)
Main Post Office(s) at all District Head Quarters of Haryana, Kaul & Bawal Rs. 525/-( Rs.150/- for SC/BC candidates)
Candidates may also download the Prospectus / Application Form / Admit Cards from website http://hau.ernet.in. The candidates availing the downloading facility of application forms will enclose cost of Prospectus (as applicable) in addition to counseling /entrance test fee.
Completed admission forms for UG Programmes must reach the Assistant Registrar (Acad.) and for PG Programmes to the Assistant Registrar (PGS) by 20.5.2011 without late fee and by 26.5.2011 with late fee of Rs.100/- for the programmes at Sr.No.1, 2 & 6. However the last date for submission of admission forms for programmes at Sr. No. 3, 4 & 5 is by 21.6.2011 without late fee and by 28.6.2011 with late fee of Rs.100/-. Completed admission forms for PG Diploma courses as at Sr. No. 7 should reach the Assistant Registrar (PGS) by 20.5.2011 without late fee and by 26.5.2011 with late fee of Rs.100/-.
