Post Graduate Diploma in e-Governance Admissions 2011-2012
Indian Institute of Information Technology & Management- Kerala (IIITM-K) and Institute of Management in Government (IMG) have jointly invited applications for admission to one-year full-time Post Graduate Diploma in e-Governance of Academic Year 2011-12.
Eligibility:
Entry-level requirement for the programme is a Bachelors degree in any discipline with working knowledge of computer systems. Diploma / Certification in computer application will be an added advantage. Preference will be given to BTech / MBA / MCA degree holders.
Selection Process:
The selection will be through a written test and interview conducted by IIITM-K. Under sponsored category, Central & other State Govt., PSUs and Private Organizations could sponsor their employees through proper channel. SC, ST applicants will be eligible for reservation as per Government rules
1. Eligible candidates from open category are selected through competitive entrance examination followed by interview. The written test will consist of questions from reasoning ability, communication skills, general knowledge, mathematical aptitude and foundations of IT.
2. Candidates from Government Departments are first short listed based on their profiles and final selection is made through interview.
Application Fee:
Demand Draft for Rs. 250 (non-refundable) drawn in favour of Director, IIITM-K, payable at Thiruvananhapuram. All category of applicants need to pay the fee.

After successful submission of the application, applicants have to take a print out of the generated form and send according to the category as mentioned below:

Sponsored Candidates (Central, Other State Govt., PSUs and Private Organizations)
Attach copies of relevant certificates, the demand draft and consent from the sponsor and send the application form to "The PGDeG Co-ordinator, IIITM-K, Technopark, Karyavattom PO, Thriruvananthapuam - 695581" on or before 05.00 pm, Thursday, May 12, 2011. However candidates could send the advance copy in case of delay in getting the sponsorship formalities.
